Review content:
my problem was that the waitress was incredibly rude and made inappropriate comments to me that were so hurtful that i walked out of the restaurant crying. my date and i were there for 2.5 hours, and she asked us quite rudely to leave so that other customers could have the table. i've never been asked to leave a restaurant before, and while it's somewhat understandable since it's a small place, we paid $50 each for an entree and a shared bottle of wine and she could have asked more nicely. we left her an $18 tip, which i wish now that we hadn't. i went to use the restroom after we paid, and when i came out, she started yelling at me that ""in this country and in this culture, it's considered polite manners to close the bathroom door when you're done using it."" she also said more stuff to follow up on that. first off, it's not my fault that the restaurant is so tiny that i couldn't walk out of the bathroom to close the door, because the waitress was pouring wine at a table. secondly, why does she have to assume that because i have an asian face, that i'm not part of this country and american culture? i've never had someone make judgments on me because of my ethnicity, and so yes, i walked out of pomodoro in tears. Cons: horrendous service
