Costco was once a pleasant and unique shopping experience. However, as the company has grown, its lost its charm. The quality of its merchandise reflects this, now. It usually stocks low end national brands or its store brand (Kirkland). If you listen to people, who are blinded fans, you would think the best companies in the world make the store brand. I've heard almost every major manufacture mentioned as a possible source for one product. Beyond the fact they push their store brand as a substitute for quality brand name products, there's the lack of customer service. It wasn't always that way. They use to have employees that were attentive about customers. Costco has become big business in the worst ways: poorly made goods, apathetic employees, and bottom line mentally. It's a real shame.
