It's not the nicest location, and it's a small "British Pub" but don't let any of that fool you. Over the years, we've introduced more people to Quips (over 40 at last count) than any other local eatery.
Yes, we all know that the Brits aren't known for their food, but this restaurant has a large menu that only a small part of which is "Traditional British Fayre". Surprisingly, they actually have the best hamburgers of ANY restaurant in ANY state that my wife and I have eaten in. Warning: they are HUGE but Oh so delicious!
The steaks and the crabmeat are phenomenal. Heck, even the low-end stuff like the "Dipper" and the hot wings are good eating.
Everybody says they love their Fish & Chips, though my wife and I both think that almost every other item on the menu out shines this traditional favorite.
Keep up the good work and the good chow!
