If you'd like to have a nice sit down lunch while you're at the Michigan Union, then head to the University Club. While some of my favorites have been removed from the menu, and then menu has changed...there are still many options, from sandwiches to salads. The only thing about the University Club is that it is only open for a short window - from 11am-2pm....so you can only get lunch. Something that is popular at the U-Club is the hot food bar, and salad bar, which you can either eat in or take to go. For people on the go, you can choose the food you want to take to go from either of the bars and pay for your food by the pound. It may not be as cheap as fast food...but it gives you some different options for lunch.
