It's great to be able to find a place where you can find fabric for your own sewing projects. Jo-Ann's has a wide range of fabrics, including fleece, silk and charmeuse, cottons and permanent-press, as well as drapery selections, and even vinyl for upholstery projects. You can also easily find matching threads and bias tapes and buttons. The store provides some large tables where you can unroll a bolt of fabric, to view it better, or you can sit down and look for patterns.
Jo-Ann's also has a limited amount of space devoted to seasonal decorations, such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Halloween, etc. There is also a small area with candles and wedding decorations, yarn, and some craft items, such as jewelry findings, but it is not as extensive as Michael's or A.C. Moore. The parking area is also small, and somewhat difficult to enter and exit. However, it is worth the inconvenience, if you need fabrics for your next sewing project.
