This place is a hole in the wall on Telegraph Avenue. There isn't much seating, and it's all self serve (water is free and in a fridge in the back for your self-serve needs!). This is why the prices for the usual Indian dishes are very cheap and very reasonable for college students and adults alike. Their naans are very famous, you should try them.
They are very fast with your orders, which I like very much-- but they often make mistakes. I often order roti (flat wheat bread), but they often make mistakes and give me naan instead (white flour bread). They are the same price, so I don't mind...but that 's the only real con that I have about this place.
Another thing is is that if there is an event in Berkeley, this place gets into a frenzy. It gets VERY busy and you probably cant find a place to sit, unless you sit with some other people at a table. But other than that, this place is great.
