Shing’s is one of the typical $15 for a haircut places that you find around Asian mini malls. Although I know a lot of people who go there regularly and I’ve heard that they do good cuts for guys (my brother is among one of the regulars), the times that I’ve gone I’ve had really negative haircutting experiences. Last time I cut my hair there, I was pretty traumatized, and didn’t cut my hair for another two years afterward. But some people like it, so maybe it’s just my personal experience.
