We had an emergency with our baby blue and gold macaw and this animal hospital came highly recommended by my local NWIN vet when they couldn't adequately address the problem. After driving 1+ hrs, we were seen after only a brief wait and received the undivided attention and expert perspective of Dr. Clarkson. She examined our bird without incident (and bird owners know this to be quite a feat in itself!), and guided us to the best course of treatment and follow-up observation. I would travel to them again in a heartbeat, and to those of you, who squawk about the cost, they are regional experts who are worth their weight in gold... and worth whatever they want to charge!\r
