I've never had Korean food before and didn't know what to expect when I went to Gabose. We had the Korean pancake which was made with leeks and zucchini and was delish. Really large portion, filled a dinner plate and served with a nice soy based sauce. I had no idea the entrees were served with so many sides. They brought out a dozen or so side dishes with our entrees, a Korean version of tapas. All had bright, interesting flavors. While the entree prices might seem high (my chicken was arund $25) given all the sides it's not that bad. We could have easily split one entree. My husband had the short ribs and enjoyed them very much. We opted to have our food cooked in the kitchen versus cooking it ourselves at one of the charcoal tables but will try that next time. The only drawback here is if you are a wine drinker your options are pretty limited. Service was good but our main server didn't speak the best English so communication was a bit of a challenge.
