My husband and I finally got around to visiting Malanga. Our son and daughter-in-law recommended it to us and had been reminding us time and again to make sure we went. Well, finally today was the day. We arrived at 7:45 pm after making dinner reservations to find 4 other couples dining. We were so pleasantly surprised. Genuine Cuban flair, genuine Cuban flavors, genuine Cuban selections, genuine Cuban sayings on the feature wall, genuine Cuban music softly playing in the background, genuinely Cuban all around. We are so impressed we decided to keep it as our private date place. \r

Succulent roast pork, thick red beans, flaky white rice, generous portions, an arroz con leche that was incredibly tasty like my Mami's home made version. Delicious vaca frita with grilled onions, outstanding congri, well fried tostones.....and our waitress couldn't have been nicer. What more can I say? It was an excellent experience. \r
