We came down to Carlyle Cafe on 26th July for coffees and drinks. Unfortunately we did not have a very nice experience with our waiter. He did not seem impressed we were only ordering drinks even though the cafe wasn't busy when we visited. Service was slow and and when we asked for the bill and paid it took a very long time to get our change from a 20 - we had to ask another waiter even though our waiter was just standing at the entrance and could clearly see us. He then proceeded to give us incorrect change without a receipt. We asked for the remainder and a receipt and were eventually given it without an apology. We are under the impression he didn't give us the receipt and the remainder of the change thinking we wouldn't notice so he could keep it as an extra tip.
