I live in Dallas and was on vacation in Austin last August. The transmission went out on my Honda and Dave's installed a rebuilt one. There is a 12 month/12,000 mile nationwide warranty and a 24 month/24,000 mile local warranty. Last week, the transmission started acting up on me. I was in the Dallas area. For whatever reason the nationwide Napa warranty wasn't going to cover my problem. The manager at Dave's stepped up to the plate and assured me that they would back their work, even if the Napa warranty wouldn't. They paid to have my vehicle towed to an independent transmission shop in Dallas and paid them to do the work. The people that I dealt with were extremely friendly, understanding and helpful. It is very refreshing to know that there is a place that actually works hard to make things right and backs up their work with more than words. That place is Dave's Automotive.
