Beware: Broken Cars, False Promise, Horrible Service 5/26/2010

I purchased a car last week, which took me 7 hours since the only person who approves financing is the owner who was not there all day long, after spending a lot of time at wendy's and waiting around I finally finished my paperwork and was ready to go. On my way home from the lot (only 40 minutes after signing papers) the car started making a horrible noise and the fan exploded, destroying the radiator, the airbox and the fan. The car was not driveable without a fan and working radiator. I contacted the dealer immediately, about 5 minutes after this happened. They requested I pay to have it towed back to Everett so they could repair it for me, I got a tow quote and told them I could not afford the $300 towing cost (from Kent to Everett). They then requested I have it towed to a service station close to my location so they could get an official quote, and was told ""not to worry they would take care of everything and pay to have it fixed"". I paid to have it towed to the station, got a quote, which was $1,029.46. I contacted the dealership again to confirm they received the quote from the service station. They confirmed that they received it from the service station and again told me not to worry about it, that they would rectify the situation and pay for the repairs, that they were just waiting for approval from the owner to give the service station payment information and would call me back in a few minutes. They never called me back. On the third day I called them back again after not receiving a call back and after confirming with the service station that they had not yet submitted a payment method for repairs to begin. When I called I spoke to the manager who now refuses to pay for the repairs, he offered to buy me a radiator only and mail to me to install myself, it needs other parts, and not to mention that I am not a freaking mechanic! He was extremely rude, even saying he was gonna hang up on me and he doesn't owe me a damn thing. After making several verbal promises to pay for the repairs to make it driveable to both myself and the service station employees, they are now saying they will not repair the vehicle as promised, they refuse to accept a return on the vehicle. I purchased this vehicle for a total of $5906.80 and it is not in safe, drivable, working order. Do not buy anything from this place, they make false promises, sell crap cars that are about to fall apart, and come on if the car couldn't make it to my freaking house from the lot what kind of inspection did they do? I have filed complaints everywhere I can and will probably end up going to court, but basically I paid $6000 for a non working vehicle, and have gotten the rudest customer service ever. Pros: They work with you on financing Cons: time, quality, price, service, basically everything more
