I have lived here for a couple years, and have a cat that lives me too. Last year I was having trouble with the toilet overflowing, so I asked them to look at it while I was going to be out of town. I got back to a note that accused me of flushing cat litter down the toilet. I have had cats my whole life, and I am not a moron, I think I know not to do that. I work third shift, so I sleep during the day, and the manager knows this. Last year on the day they said they were going to do the yearly inspection (which is an invasion of privacy in itself) I stayed up all day waiting for them, and they never came. This caused me to have to go to work that night with almost no sleep, then they showed up some other day, unannounced. ..
This year, I went to bed at my normal time to avoid the same thing happening. And when they came, knowing that I would be sleeping, they pounded on the door, opened it, and yelled at me to wake up. I was so infuriated that I ignored them until they finally went away. ..
I always feel like they are watching me too, since I get comments on whether I'm driving my car or riding the bus, and when I come and go. ..
If you work during the day and don't have a cat, you would probably be ok here. The other employees are very friendly. And the neighbors are friendly, or just leave you alone.
