I am so sorry for the previous poster's loss of their family members. It is heartwrenching to lose a member of your family.\r
I work at the Clovis Vet Hospital, and we have not seen a Chihuahua for a pin removal in the past few months. I am sure that we all would have remembered an emotionally trying case like that. There is a Clovis Pet Hospital just a few blocks up the street, and I wonder if perhaps that was where the dogs were taken.\r
Also, we ALWAYS offer xrays for lameness. If you can't afford them, it's fine, but we think they are important. Again, I am surprised that such a thing happened here.\r
