My dog was a healthy and happy 10 year old Siberian Husky, who suddenly came down with an infection that caused him to vomit and be lethargic. When I brought him to Angell 24 hours after he started showing symptoms of lethargy, the very young doctor at the ER was convinced it was a problem with his back because he "seemed sore there." I guaranteed her that was not the problem as he never in his life had a back ache. He had a very high temperature and was starting to get sore.
