As a South Slope resident with a young child, I was relieved when the owner of Boing Boing opened a branch in my neighborhood. The selection is less plentiful, but she can get things if you need them. I like this space much more than the Central Slope one, because it has a large back room that's open if you need to stop in during a rainy afternoon to nurse or just allow your child to walk around and play with some toys. She also allows small groups of moms to meet there. It's an amazing addition to the community -- check it out!
Pros: Good selection, lovely space for sitting in the back
