I love this practice. I've been taking both of my boys here for over 5 years. The doctors are exceptionally warm and caring and very well educated. What I like best is that my kids can be seen by either doctor and they are familiar with them, their medical histories, and their likes/dislikes. The two doctors (brown and pandya) complement each other very well. I've been to medical practices in the past where you are seen by the different doctors and you end up having to reeducate the doctor on your kids needs- not so here at Round Rock pediatrics- it is truly seemless medical care. I also like the fact that I can call with an urgent situation and get my kids in that same day. Over the years I've had to call them on weekends, in the wee hours of the morning, etc. and always gotten through to the doctor in a timely manner and always had my concerns throughly listened to. I can't recommend them more highly.
I also like they've redone all the exam rooms and added a well child waiting area. It is very cheerful and most importantly my children feel very comfortable there.
My kids have occassionally needed to see various medical specialists and the doctors at RR Pediatrics to a tremendously good job of following up with all the other doctors, getting test results, and following through- most other doctors I've seen don't do nearly as good a job in this respect.
Both of these doctors are board certified in Pediatrics - which was very important to me - and they keep up on the latest info - which has been very helpful to me. The office staff has always seemed friendly and efficient - and I like that we tend to see the same people over the years (vs other practices where the support staff is constantly changing over). This continuity also helps my kids feel comfortable there.
Pros: easy to get in with urgent situations - very competent/thorough doctors
Cons: occassionally you have to wait for your appointment - but this is rare and typically when they've had some sort of urgent situation with some other kid so I totally understand
