As we entered the inviting brightly-colored dining room with eclectic lighting, we were greeted with a handshake by our host Mauricio. After we ordered a Mojito and a Caipirinha, our server recommended that we begin with the special smoked pork loin appetizer that had been marinating for 3 days and served with a spicy plum sauce. We were not disappointed. For our entrees we tried the evening's Snapper special served with shrimp and avocado and the traditional Brazilian dish Xim Xim that features chicken, shrimp, coconut rice, peppers and cashews. Both were excellent and exotic especially when topped with the fresh pepper condiments provided at every table. The reasonably priced wine list features selections from Spain, Argentina, and Chile. The flan-like dessert we chose was a little lack-luster so I recommend that you skip it and have more appetizers. We will definitely be back!
