I can see making this a regular stop on my dinner circuit. We chose Brasserie as our break out from restaurant week, and it was the right choice. From the grand entrance to the incredibly lucky booth seating that gave us a sweeping view as the evening unfolded, we got off to a great start. The tissue wrapped baguette OK, the european butter better, and the wine list short but with very good choices regardless of budget. The raw bar and the lobster salad were excellent considering the season, and the French onion soup tasty and thankfully not too salty. The seared king salmon was well presented and cooked to perfection. If you choose the excellent rib-eye steak with the nicely and spicily flavorful Chipotle Béarnaise, be prepared to lug half of it home. The chocolate beignets with caramel ice crean filled what little space there was to finish this excellent and fairly-priced dinner.
