Low-class food for high-class price 3/1/2003

I was so disappointed in the food. We went for things the server recommended. For example, he said the $44 crabcakes were the best he'd ever tasted. They were bland, full of shell particles, and the crab itself was limp and didn't taste fresh. The raw oysters were chewy and so large we had to cut them in half. The beignets were oily and burnt tasting. The overall feeling I got was that it wasn't a ""real"" restaurant, more like an Olive Garden-chain-type joint. Pros: Service Cons: Food, Over-rated, Over-priced more
