I found Dr. Titko to be totally unfriendly, bordering on abrasive. She did not make me feel welcomed. In fact, the tone of her voice and some of her facial expressions were offensive, making for an uncomfortable experience. After a short amount of time with me, she recommended a treatment plan exceeding $1,000.00. Upon leaving, I mentioned something to her team member about my disappointing experience. She told me, "Well, she doesn't like pretty people." It sounds ridiculous, but those are the staff member's words, not mine. Needless to say, I will not be back. I don't mind spending a significant amount of money to keep my feet healthy, but it will be given to someone who understands how to provide remarkable customer service.
A few days after my appointment, I went to dinner with friends. I mentioned my recent diagnosis which immediately prompted someone to ask the name of my podiatrist. I told him it was Dr. Titko. He then told all of us about what he characterized as an awful experience with her. Clearly, I am not alone.
In an area the size of greater Cincinnati, it shouldn't be hard to find service with a smile. If those things are important to you, as they are to me, keep looking.
