The implant programs at NYU Dental is competitive with each program. I believe the programs are deceptive. NIH provided a generous grant and you sign $1025 for an implant. Yet, you can pay $3000 when completed. With a broken tooth and in pain I was Guaranteed a perfect candidate for an implant. Sent me home with the same broken tooth (I live in PA and in pain) which I pulled myself and then I had to make three separate visits to find out the work according to that specialist had to be done on another floor. Another specialist was out to lunch and provided service at his convenience. I finally walked out and hoped he enjoyed his vacation in NYC, as he supposedly had a practice in New Jersey. Lack of communication, professionalsm, and attitude towards patients.
