Yang Chow Restaurant 9/21/2005

The service is great. I've never had to wait for a table, and the staff always makes sure you're satisfied. The food is also very good -- The Chicken Fried Rice is my favorite. The portions are large, and the prices are very reasonable. (try especially the slippery shrimp served in generous portions. Modest decor, but easy parking in the back. ) more

Traditional Chinese cuisine 8/28/2005

A large group headed to Yang Chow after a LAPD Academy graduation last year. It is frequented by many locals, both Asian and non-Asian, and regularly by policemen on lunch break. The food is delicious! We ordered several traditional dishes to share family style, including one of my usual favourites, honey walnut shrimp. This is the real deal, both for its food and its atmosphere. more
