Disrespectful, non-responsive, etc. When my parents purchased these plots it was lush green place of beauty. Now crabgrass if you are lucky. I have emailed them as well as their corporate facility without response and am considering moving my parents to a private cemetary. My mother died 7 months ago and still no grass.....3 different excuses. more

This was at one time, a nice cemetary. Not Now! 1/29/2011

I'm so sorry to see how this memorial park is being handled as a memorial business. I remember when they took time to sit down with you on planning about the future of your loved one's, not to mention your own burial, whether it be plot, crematory or mausoleum planning. I have loved one's that have been using this memorial park for over 25 years, and unfortunately when Dignity took over, the staff they hired, have been HORRIBLE with the business and especially in the sales department. There is no respect from the staff but mostly they are non professional attitudes amongst the staff toward ""you"" as the person needing planning for the future for loved ones. i wish they'd revamp the staff completely, or at least look into how this location is being handled and maintained. Be wary before purchasing here. more

I am in Texas and I have been reading about this cemetary here online. I hope that what I am reading is not the norm for this place of rest for so many loved one's from many family's. This is a place where family's come to remember and visit with there loved ones that have now gone to heaven. Here in Texas cemetaries are a place of respect and are very well maintained. I would hope cemetaries in the city that is my birthplace is the same. Do not disrespect the loved ones of the past Pros: Resting place for my childrens mother Cons: Not friendly more

Staff unfriendly 10/26/2009

I stopped by to visit the grave of an old friend of the family and the staff refused to give me the location of the grave citing ""privacy reasons."" This woman was not famous or infamous and I can't think of any legitimate reason why a dead person would need privacy. On the contrary, it seems like many of the graves could have used a little visit. Pros: Good location Cons: staff unfriendly more

Find another way to cut cost 9/21/2008

I was shocked to go to the cemetary on 09/21/2008 and find no flowers on any of the plots. I placed a Fall Arrangement on my Fathers Gravesite knowing you would probably toss it in the trash. I called my Mom to ask if she had received any new guidelines and she said no. I stopped and talked to another visitor and she explained you can only place flowers on graves during certain times of the year. I would appreciate it if you have new guidelines in place that you email them to me. I also would like to understand why I can't keep flowers on my Fathers burial site. This used to be one of the most beautiful cemetaries in Richmond and on this day it looked pretty ""dead"", no pun intended. Is it your way of cutting cost. If so I find it discusting. more
