BEWARE of using this company, especially the Los Feliz branch on Hillhurst Ave. We were first time homebuyers and had we known, we would have run for the hills when the seller wanted to use this Escrow Company. They messed up our paperwork and had us sign the first draft of the loan. Plus they didn't print out the entire first draft of the loan docs, so we actually only signed part of the loan. We spoke to a different person every time they called us. Employees calling us were Dada,Kristen, a notary and Michele Hunstable, who we found out later on was our actual Escrow Officer. She was on a two-week vacation when we actually closed. The entire week of ""closing"" we'd get calls from Dada and Kristen blaming us for not signing a paper that we were never given to sign. Every day it was another paper they needed us to sign because at the ""official"" signing we weren't given the correct papers. It was a huge mess. We ended up paying interest for three days, but couldn't get the keys to the house. This was because the Escrow Company hadn't given us another final piece of paperwork to sign. We still wouldn't have them had our loan officer not sent the paper directly to us. We printed it ourselves and dropped it off to the Escrow Company. They didn't even call us to let us know when to release the funds for the down payment! From moment one they were a disaster, they're located around the corner from where we lived, yet without calling us, they sent papers via messenger to our apartment. Since they hadn't told us they were coming we were at work. The papers with all our personal information sat in the messenger?s car for three days before getting back to the Escrow Company. This is the most incompetent company I've ever dealt with. I heard Escrow was a pain, but this was ridiculous! I will NEVER use them again and I recommend to all those people out there who are selling or buying to seriously BEWARE! Using them will cost you more money.
Pros: there are none
Cons: everything about them
