I highly recommend Wabash Diamond Company. I dealt with Erik Rowe who is the owner. He was patient, courteous and, most of all, very knowledge about the diamonds. He didn't try to push a sale. He is a great listener who got exactly what I wanted. My fiance loves her engagement ring and she gets constant compliments to the point where it gets a little uncomfortable when other people's wives are in the room. You can see the jealousy in their eyes. Erik has a keen understanding of what it means to build trust and to establish long term relationships with his customers. Everyone was helpful, my husband and I bought a diamond from Seth. He was very helpful and didn't pressure us at all. That being said he was incredibly knowledgeable about his business. His price was competitive and the product was the best we saw. He made us a custom ring and had a huge selection of diamonds to show us. They are not only the friendliest staff on Wabash, but truely honest and sincere with all customers. They can create any type of custom jewerly or replicate the most unique pieces with your or their own creative touches. The ring was purchased on October 4th 07 after it was made by his jewelry shop. On November 2nd we noticed the diamond was loose in the ring so we brought it into the store to be fixed. The next day we noticed the ring had plier marks in the base, was scratched and one of the prongs on the diamond was damaged. I asked Bob how the ring could be damaged and he indicated the people in his jewelry shop were out and he fixed it himself with a pair of pliers and made a mistake in damaging it but he wanted to fix it (which he later tried to blame on us). I picked it up on Friday, November 9th and gave it to my Fiancee the next morning and she noticed that the diamond was not set correctly. On November 12th, I returned to ask him if he could set the diamond the way it was originally set and said he could fix it for approximately $425 and would not honor his 60 day return policy that he had been stressing vervally all along. Do not go here.!! I loved my engagement ring, but I've had it for 1.5 months and EVERY WEEK I've had to take it in to the store because diamonds HAD FALLEN OUT. The staff has tried to blame me, saying that I was ""too rough with it."" An engagement ring is supposed to endure for your entire life, it should not be losing 1-2 diamonds every week!! I work a regualer office job so I am not ""rough with it."" This last time, wabash diamond co had my ring for an entire week ""fixing the setting."" When my fiance brought it home I opened the box and IT WAS ALREADY MISSING ANOTHER DIAMOND. I've been in tears about this because it looks like we're going to have to return it and get a new ring elsewhere, despite my emotional attachment. I repeat, PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! This place is great, my boyfriend and I were in here to select an engagement ring. We went in told the gentleman what we were looking for and the amount of money we had to spend. He showed us what they had, explained to us the return policy and the upgrade policy. He never pushed us to spend more then we wanted to and explained all of our options. They make every piece in the store so if you pick something but want to change it so in is uniquely yours, they can accomodate. We walked out the door with a beautiful ring.
