I spoke with one of Walgreens (female) pharmacists/ tech "Stacy" who sounded very impatient and rude. On 02/22/2009, I called Walgreens to pick up my prescription. I did not hear any feedback whether my meds have been called in by the physician. So on 02/25/09, I began to call Walgreens to inquire about my Rx but found out that physician remained to be contacted. I finally called my physician?s office and spoke to his supervisor who reported that the meds have been called in. On 02/26/09 in the evening, I picked up my meds but 1 Rx was missing. On 02/27/09, I called my MD?s office again and spoke to the supervisor who reported that Vivelle patch was called in at 5:13 pm ?last night? (02/26/09) to another Walgreens in Scottsdale, AZ. On 02/27/09 approximately 10 to 11am, I called Walgreens again and the female pharmacist (tech) insisted that I continue to call my MD to investigate the missing Rx, which I have been doing. My point is that I have spent enough time to track down the status of my Rx by calling my MD and Walgreens. I simply requested to the pharmacist to call the other Walgreens to inquire if the physician has re filled my Rx. That was not much to ask, but the pharmacist rudely insisted for me to continue calling the other Walgreens and my MD. I believe all Walgreens have the same database where records are accessible by your pharmacists/tech. I am extremely disappointed by this service in this particular location at 11250 E. Via Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85259. Not only was the pharmacist/ tech rude but she exemplified laziness and had no sense of customer service (she could have easily called the other Walgreens).
