Best

Love doing business with these guys. Jason is a great adviser. Quick, easy, and painless. Just what I had in mind. Thanks for all of your help.

Worst

It seems that everyone on the westside must own a Mercedes judging by the delays I experieced here. I don't mind paying the premium for service at a dealer, but not when it comes...

Quick 7/29/2011

Allen was very professional and helpful. I have never been in and out of a dealership so fast. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to purchase a Mercedes Benz. more

Informative 7/29/2011

Karnit is very concerned that the car buying experience is fun and informative. It is! She truly cares that I understand all the features my car has to offer, so that I enjoy my car to the fullest. I was and is a pleasure to work with her. more

Kevin is the best! It is always pleasure working with him, he makes it so easy to get my car serviced. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. When I bring my car to Kevin, I get the feeling that he really cares about me and my car- thanks Kevin! more

Never step foot in W.I. Simonson Santa Monica 2/22/2009

This is the worst dealer by far I have ever been to. They have lied right to my face. They told me I should get the extended warranty and that I am not able to get it later on. If you ever decide to go to this horrible car dealer go dressed in a suite. It will take you 20 minutes to get help if you go dressed casual (dress pants, dress shirt, dress shoes = 20 min). In the begging the basket is full of fruits but once you sign the paperwork you will notice that the basket is really empty. I honestly believe Mercedes should deny them as Authorized Dealer because these con artists throw the name down of Mercedes. At first I thought i was the only one but I guess a lot of people felt the same way I did. Also I read the review about Frank and I think that's the same LIAR who helped me as well. If you ever go to this dealer please go with a friend that knows about Mercedes pretty well or do you HW before you step foot into that dealer. Pros: You will learn the tricks that Salesman use to rip off customers. Cons: EVERYTHING, From the moment you step foot into the dealer to the moment you leave. more

Worst Benz Dealer Ever!!!! 2/12/2009

The person I dealt with his name is FRANK. He is a mediocre tried to lie and cheat me in anyway. After purchasing a Mercedes Benz he didn't even fill up my gas tank saying that its only 1/4 tank fill ups. I had the worst experience ever. What's bad is my friend wants to buy a brand new E63 He is definitely not going to go over there. If W.I. Simonson of Santa Monica is reading this get a better staff everyone is horrible. All their noses are up like their are some kind off hot shots. I got treated with no respect people looking down upon you. And the sad part is I paid cash for the car and I can open a check cashing place with my own money and cash W.I Simon's Employee checks. Pros: No Pros, Only Managers are nice to you at the end when you are paying. Cons: Everything, Frank is a conartist more

From a former employee: 3/13/2008

I can promise you that you will get terrible customer service when trying to purchase a vehicle, and no one will put your best interests first. I was chastised for wanting to provide great customer service, and the sales manager tried to run off most of my customers by ripping them off, treating them in a patronizing manner, and behaving in an extremely prejudiced way. I am nothing short of shocked that the behavior of the current management that exists in 2008 at WI Simonson. They will beat you up into a decision, and over-charge you for as much as they can get away with. They claim to have sales and special events, although there is no change in price. The only statement I can make is buyer beware, and go to Southbay or even Mercedes of Beverly Hills (although, I hear that they have many of the same practices). I was harassed, degraded, and in the end, they deleted my name from my deals and, even though my customers called to complain and some refused delivery of their cars, the dealership kept my commissions, and claimed that I never made those sales. This is a criminal, criminal environment. Pros: Mercedes-Benz are nice vehicles Cons: Criminal activity, patronizing management, DO NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER more

Great Place to get great service 12/1/2005

I came here to get service; they gave me a loaner car to help me out while my car was in Service because I am a single mom and really couldnt be without a car. They fixed my car in a timely matter and I will always go here to get it fixed anytime. The people are nice and have a great attitude, every time I got to WI Simonson my needs are always taken care of. They are the dealership you can count on in a hurry because they fit me in when I really needed it. Thanks WI Simonson and all the great people who work there. You are great!! Pros: Gave me a Loaner car, Great Attitudes, Nice surroundings Cons: None, None , None more

easy to buy, a nightmare to service! 8/31/2005

Don't go here if you want 1) prompt service 2) the problem fixed the first time IF AT ALL 3) any kind of customer service follow up. Be prepared to be treated like a Yugo customer on the service drive. After three weeks, (to be fair, some was bodywork) Im told the car is fixed. Due to my schedule I have to leave it there an additional week after work is completed. When I pick it up, several of the defects are still present requiring me to leave it a few more days. The service advisor tells me he misunderstood the complaints. Later that day, I fax him the original repair order HE TYPED. The R.O. was clear as to the defects. He never called back. This was not the first time W.I.S. failed to complete a repair order correctly. I will never go back there to buy or service. Cons: long lines on drive, poor if any follow up, can't seem to fix it more

Terrible Service, take your car someplace else 5/31/2005

I have had my new E350 at this dealership three times for the same problem. In addition to the re-occurring problem, the level of service at W.I. Simomson has not been acceptable. Here is the level of service I have experienced at this dealership: My service representative not available at the time of scheduled appointments. 25 plus minute wait for a courtesy ride approx. two miles. No returned calls, in fact representative did not call me when vehicle was ready I have to call several times to get to a real person with information about my car. I receive far superior service at Honda dealership in fact the level of overall service is not even comparable. Cons: poor customer service, poor customer service, poor customer service more

Not worth it 11/12/2004

I went to this place to repair my car and have to say that this place really gives a bad name to all the Mercedes dealers. I had electricity leakage in my car and it took WIS two days to find the problems, disconnect couple functions in my car and call it fixed. Better yet, before I left the place, I noticed that the meters were not working so I asked the service person to look at it again and he said that disconnecting meters was also part of the fix. In other words, if I didn't ask him, I would've been driving on the road without knowing what my gas level or speed is. I was given two options, either disconnect the meters or reconnect the functions, I had to pick the latter and the service person clearly didnt have any problem charging me for the fix. Cons: , service, price more

Be prepared to wait. 7/1/2002

It seems that everyone on the westside must own a Mercedes judging by the delays I experieced here. I don't mind paying the premium for service at a dealer, but not when it comes with a wait and an atitude. Lucky to get an appointment? Not really. more
