I have been going to Liz for almost 3 years and look forward to my appointments with her. She is so sweet and helpful! We have made MANY changes to my hair over the years, but she always made sure that we never did anything to damage my hair. I LOVE LIZ!!!!\r \r Teresa starting cutting my hair a little over a year ago after my old stylist quit. I love talking to her and she always recommends great products!! more

\r I have had an idea about my hair color for a long time and have tried to have it done twice before... once in 2004 (the lady said she thought I would like her idea better and turned my hair orange- she did what she wanted without asking me first!) Then I tried again in 2008 (that lady said she didn't think I really wanted to go as dark as I said- and she also turned my streaks a little orange).\r \r Then I met NICOLE H. and thought ""now there is a girl that never screws up!"" So after talking with her about it for months, I finally got the courage to try again. She did EXACTLY what I wanted, no questions asked and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!! I will never go to anyone else again! She is definitely talented, because what I wanted didn't exactly exist- she combined 2 colors to make my base color and then put dark red highlights and my hair turned out perfect!! \r \r As if my shout out isn't enough :) I just want to mention that she also colored another stylist's hair- black with teal in it and it is flipin' awesome!! That color also had to be ""created"" by Nicole- so if you ever want to try something new or just plain funky, this is the girl you need to ask for!! \r more

Michelle and Kourtney are FAB! 8/22/2011

After a summer of putting my hair in a ponytail, I decided I needed a New Fall Look!! Michelle and Kourtney definitely understood. Michelle gave me great definition with my highlights, and Kourtney gave me a great, up-to-date look. Best of all, I didn't have to wait a long time between services. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and on-time. The salon was organized, clean, and had a great vibe to it! I even picked up a mini version of their new skincare line. Looking forward to trying it! more

Liz and Gabriel have work miracles!! 8/20/2011

I am SO happy that I have found Liz and Gabriel at Visible Changes!!! I have naturally curly hair and have never had such an amazing colorist and stylist. My hair can be a little tricky but Liz knows exactly how to highlight my hair so that my curls look beautiful and I the style still looks great straight too! As for Gabriel, I have NEVER had a stylist that knows how to work with my curls! The sign of a great hair cut is how it looks after a few weeks and starts to grow out....and my hair looks AMAZING! I drive an hour to have them work their magic!! I highly recommend them both them! You will love them!! more

Liz and Gabriel are the BEST!!!! 8/20/2011

The thought of going to anyone other than Liz for color and hi-lites and Grabriel for cut and style, give me the chills. I drive nearly an hour every 6 weeks to them because after years in search for the best, I found Liz and Gabriel. I've been delighted with my hair for the past 2 years...I can't image not having them do my hair...THEY ARE PREFECT..this comes from someone that's picky and has high standards...me. more

Marcela is the best colorist! 8/19/2011

I was in the Houston area and was in need of a hilight and cut. I was referred to Marcela at the Galleria by a local who's hair I loved. I was able to get an appointment very quickly. Marcela is very sweet and easy to talk to. She did an excellent job on my hilights. Also, Maegan is the stylist who cut my hair and she was great too. I definitely suggest you go to Visible Changes at the Galleria! more

Marcela and Manny were recommended to me by my coworker and I must say it was one of the best salon experiences i have ever had. Marcela and Manny were both fun and energetic. I was covering up my highlights and going to my natural color and Marcela's color selection was spot on! I am so happy with the turnout of the color that I rebooked before I left the salon for my next visit with her. Manny was a hoot! I laughed and really enjoyed his styling. I also rebooked with him as well for my next appointment. I HIGHLY recommend both Marcela and Manny for your color and cutting needs :) more

Reliable, Quality Service 8/19/2011

Going to a new stylist or colorist for the first time is always scary for me. I tend to stick with the same person for long stretches of time; so going to someone I am unfamiliar with makes me very nervous. I rolled the dice and came up a winner when I made an appointment at the Visible Changes in the Galleria and was scheduled for color with Marcela. I told her what I wanted which was challenging since my hair was so dark and she explained the best way to get there (and the reasoning behind it!) and then implemented that plan. She really listens to the client and is very realistic about exactly what the results will look like - no unexpected surprises! I've been going to her ever since and don't plan on changing colorists ANY time soon! more

Kourtney is an awesome stylist 8/18/2011

I went in to the Visible Changes in the Houston Galleria expecting to simply tame my hair, which hadn't been cut in a couple of months and was really long and unruly. I walked out feeling really confident and attractive thanks to Kourtney. She asked me what image I was going for, and without further ado, made it happen! She was very thorough, and made sure I was satisfied and knew how to reproduce the style before I left the seat. When I realized that I was running low on gel, she recommended a pomade that I have been really satisfied with. You can tell she really cares about her work, and makes you look great, but she also was good company, chatting with me as she made my hair fabulous. Overall, I had a great experience at Visible Changes, and plan to go back for my next haircut. more

The Best 8/18/2011

After years of going from place to place trying to find something more than a mediocre stylist and mediocre, inconsistent hair cuts, I've finally found the best! Visible Changes at the Galleria is a great salon, but what makes this place really stand out for me is Liz and Gabe. I've been going to both Liz and Gabe for color and style for some time now and they are awesome! Liz is a total professional and does an awesome job with color. Gabe is one very cool cat, and routinely performs miracles with my hair. Every time I walk out of there I'm feeling like a total rock star! more

A CARING HAIRSTYLIST-LIZ 8/13/2011

I came to Liz Spendley about 1 year after i was diagnoste with lupus and bipolar, Liz isnt just a great hair stylist she s a good listner, One day Liz kept me calm when i was having a panic attack and she didnt even know it, Liz s go far and beyond her way. When I told her I was taking a certain medication she notice that it working she would keep me postive when i was down. liz isvery detailed on her work she's not just like other stylist who will pass you around. she checks you basically she babysits you,i always leave there positive and i always leave there satified and were ever liz goes i will go. more

Been seeing stylist Lilia Russia for the last few months, never had any problems. She always cuts my hair just like I like it and takes her time. Used a few other stylists at Visible Changes before her and they were all great too. This is the only place in town I will get my hair cut. more

Great Hair Cut! Friendly Service! 8/9/2011

I visited the Visible Changes in the Galleria Mall and I had a wonderful experience. I was referred to Kourtney by my former stylist in Austin and she was wonderful! She was friendly and took the time to give a very thorough haircut. My biggest problem with stylists is when they rush through your hair. Well Kourtney spent 40 minutes on my hair (I'm a guy and I have short hair) and ensured that everything was even and perfect. You are in safe hands with Kourtney! more

I've been one of Nary's clients at Visible Changes in the Galleria for over 2 years now. I love her personality and catching up with her when I get my hair done. Friends, and even sometimes random people, stop and ask me who did my hair, even 2-3 months after I've gotten my hair cut. I'm picky about who does my hair but Nary always does an amazing job and she really cares about her clients! more

I HAD MY HAIR HIGHLIGHTED AND COLORED FOR OVER 15 YRS. FROM ANOTHER SALON IN HOUSTON. I BECAME DISSATISFIED WHEN THE STYLIST WAS NOT GETTING THE COLORS TO MATCH RIGHT AND MY HIGHLIGHTS BEGAN TO LOOK LIGHT PATCHWORK.\r \r I CAME TO LIZ SPENDLEY WITH A MESS OF A HEAD AND ASKED HER TO CORRECT IT. SHE WAS ABLE TO DO EXACTLY WHAT I HAD DESCRIBED TO HER THAT I WANTED AND SHE WAS ABLE TO COLOR CORRECT THE HIGHLIGHTS AND LOWLIGHTS PERFECTLY. I HAVE BEEN BACK TO HER 4 TIMES SINCE THEN AND I WILL NOT BE GOING ANYWHERE ELSE. I AM SOLD OUT ON VISIBLE CHANGES AND LIZ SPENDLEY !! more
