This was quite possibley the worst experience I've had as a customer. Ever. It was my first time visiting the salon. It was time to get my hair trimmed, no big deal I thought as I'm relatively easy to please. I walked in and requested someone who is experienced with ""ethnic"" hair, as mine is quite coarse. I was taken back to have my hair washed and booked with a stylist named Cynthia. She was nice. I told her of my concerns, and explained how I like my hair. I have very few parameters. I like it piecy, a little jagged, and long enough to lay flat on top. Cynthia reassured that she's been cutting hair for 12 years so I THOUGHT I'd be in good hands. End result = my hair sticks up EVERYWHERE because she cut it way too short to lay flat. The ends are not piecey or Jagged, instead blunt and straight and the same length all over. If I wanted a generic haircut I'd go to one of those places where you pay $5, I suppose i was mislead by the price and the term PRECISION. I leave and tip the stylist as is custom, thought I'd go home and maybe just restyle it, perhaps it'd grow on me or I was missing something. I was wrong. The next day, I couldn't style it, again too short, feathery, poofy from overtexturizing, and blunt/even all over. I decided I would go back to the salon to seek out recompensation of some sort. I was shocked at how I was treated. THE MANAGER of all people, Jamie he said his name was, had the audacity to tell me, ""GET OVER YOURSELF"" then exited the conversation to chat with someone else. I have never felt quite this insignificant. It IS my $40. I was refused a refund, and told to come back in a week so they could ""FIX"" it. To me that is an admission the cut wasn't suitable, and as short as she cut it, it wouldn't be long enough in only a week to achieve what i wanted in the first place. Now i get to go through my days feeling insecure, because my hair is EXACTLY the way i asked her NOT to cut it. Thanks for listening.
