Vertical world is a great gym for people who want to train for climbing roped routes out side. Sport climbing or trad climbing, the routes follow steepness angles and features that are commonly found outside. A large part, nearly half, of the gym is equipped with lead bolts and the majority of these routes are lead-only. The gym floor substrait is carpet over concrete, which can be disconcerting at times... like before you clip that first bolt. The crowd tents to be older, 30+ people who are there to train for their weekend climbs and not socialize as much as other gyms.
