Vermont Yankee Woodworks

I would be very interested in hearing the other side of this story. all five star reviews then suddenly this nonsensical rant??? hummm. its highly doubtful that anyone reading this review could take it seriously. I've done several projects with Vermont Yankee Cabinets( Marty) and also when he owned his molding manufacturing business and had nothing but excellent experiences. I found his craftsmanship and customer service to be of the highest caliber and not at all what is being described here. not sure how this one person could have had such a drastically different experience than everyone else but I promise you I will be informing Marty that some nameless coward has a very ugly ax to grind more

ON the job not finished.. ZERO customer service in fact a personal JAB by said "business owner".. BECAUSE he wanted a more "personal" relationship.. THAT was denied... TOOK money and did not finish the job. HE with less than reporting huge issues wanted other than a business deal. WHICH was AS said declined.. Continued issues with fixing this less than professional.. who badmouths other clients a Sunriver client I am in contact with.. THIS man is being reported to the CCB by more than me.. NO morals and ZERO integrity.. SAID person making statements below - WHAT job did he do for you?.. CURIOUS as it must have been other than cabinets more

Marty was less than stellar in his professional ability to complete a single job. Hired him for three jobs. NONE done in a timely manner. Never completed a single job. Required money upfront then stated he did not have funds to complete jobs? Kitchen cabinets - Measurements off and appliances not fitting had to hire another contractor to come in and fix the issues. Cabinets did not line up.. AFTER he stated/complained he HAD to go and get measurements from the appliance store. I have photos and emails from this less than professional contractor. Backed his truck over drawer fronts, never replaced.. Held a very large bathroom vanity together with two small nails? Needed rebuilt... I've done several remodels and built a home in the past 20 years. This contractor by far is the worst experience costing the job thousands of dollars to fix. HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere. I NEVER post negatives and give the highest Kudos to those I work with.. This experience I never want to happen to another individual. more

marty santor built the doors for us at gregs grill and did a wonderful job as im sure many have noticed. thanks so much marty for a great job and good luck. kathy more

marty is a very honest guy. we always felt like we were being treated fairly and that he was using our budget perameters well. he does excellent wok and was always on time with one exception in which case he called to inform us he was running late. we feel we definatly got our moneys worth and enjoyed dealing with marty very much and look forward to future prodcuts with him. you wont go wring here. i met marty at a home show and was immediatly impressed with some of the work he had on display. very high quality and he was a great guy to boot.really knows his stuff. we later bought some mouldings from him, not much but he was very helpful. he remembered us from the show and greeted us like we were old friends. more
