Tony Macias Tree Experts

Tony Macias has trimmed our Large Native oaks for many years. He is excellent! He is an arborist, so his knowledge of trees is extensive. Tony and his crew will not over prune or butcher the trees like others, so don't ask him to. They are dedicated to the tree's safety, health and longevity. He's not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. He is used by many of my neighbors and we appreciate his dedication to keeping our trees natural looking and healthy on Ridgeview Ave. in Eagle Rock. Thanks Tony more

Like Filmoyster., I was disturbed by the sense of entitlement of Tony Macias Tree Experts...as though I worked for him. He came to our condo association on a street-cleaning day, so parking was limited, as I forewarned his assistant. Tony proceeds to park his truck in the driveway blocking the entrance to the parking garage. I explain to him he can't park there as people are constantly coming in and out at that time of day. He then waves ""Bye-bye"" and drives off. lol...He didn't even give me the opportunity to offer him parking in the garage. \r \r I would steer clear of this guy and look at Mow Rake Sow or Gomez Landscape and Tree Care for tree service. They're far more professional. I'm not even sure if Tony is licensed or has insurance.\r \r more

We hired Tony Macias last month to prune our Deodar Cedar and remove a giant Pepper tree stump. His work was excellent and reasonably-priced. The Cedar tree is beautiful. All cuts are clean and spacing is perfect. (Our neighbor had the same type of tree pruned by another company and it looks terrible compared to Mr. Macias' work.) They did the work in a day and cleaned up pretty well. It was a very easy, quick, well-done service, and I would recommend them for pruning and/or tree removal. Pros: Very good work more

I have used their services twice in the last two years and each time was completely satisfied. Last year just before the 4th of July I wanted some trees topped so we would have a better view of fireworks for our company. With little notice they were able to fit us in and took care of it. This year I wanted to do a cleanup of trees that had not received any attention in years and demanded more than just cutting some limbs off. Tony spent time to explain and gave alot of attention to the detail to make things look right and not appear as if someone had just come in and did a rush job. They have been very prompt being there for both the estimates and the job. I would recomend them to any of my neighbors. Oh, by the way he even to care of a couple of items that were not part of he original bid at no cost just to make it look right. more

I scheduled an appointment with for an estimate on my Cypress trees. They called and changed the appointment two additional times which I agreed to due to my flexible schedule that week. The expert left a phone message ten minutes before my appointment saying he was lost and would call me back in five minutes. HE NEVER CALLED BACK! I called the company an hour later to find out what happened. They DID NOT apologize nor did they seem to care about changing the appointment 2 times. They dispatched a call to the expert and the response was ""cypress trees don't need to be pruned"". I explained I was having them looked at because there was dead debris that needed to be removed, the neighbor was complaining about a possible fire hazard.
