Best

Last August I experienced an unusual event at Tiny Bigs. My friends and I did not have the best service from a disgruntled bartender. Fortunately my husband forwarded my complai...

Worst

The drinks were good, but then again aren't they almost always in most bars? The bartender was cocky and rude, insulting us for wanting a vegetarian pizza when we should be vegan...

Stop your whining! 12/4/2005

I've read some of these reviews that it's (1) too expensive, (2) too noisy (3) too full of themself. This is a place that I usually take out-of-town friends, and every one of them loved it and always ask to go back on return trips. Drinks are great, and for the staff - I've found them nothing but friendly, open, great conversationalists if they're not too busy to chit chat. Do I go there frequently -- no , maybe once every couple months, but it's definitely a place I like to go for a beverage when I want something different than a beer at the local pub. You only live once - enjoy!!!! Pros: different, fun crowd, great bartenders more

Cigars & hot asses 10/4/2005

If your looking to impress a gal who might be willing to TRY a cigar, this IS the place. Pick a cigar you like, then a sweeter milder one for the lady & order up a couple of rounds of 'Backyards' & your in business. Always over tip your barkeep. What happens inside Tini Bigs, stays in Tini Bigs. Those big booths aren't just for sitting !! J.R. Pros: cigar friendly, mean kazi's, nice heads Cons: opens @ 4p, small place, bit pricey more

This where the grown-ups hang out 9/19/2005

This is my absolute favorite place to hang. The martini's are AWESOME and lots of eye "candy". more

I am my own bartender 1/9/2005

Look - for about $4 I can make my own Ketel One martini at home. But to go to Tini Bigs where a bartender with a bar half full and two cocktailers to help takes 15 minutes to make two martinis and charges $14 each - it ridiculous! We finished and we were ready to order two of their $8 specialty drinks and it took 15 minutes for the bartender to ask if we wanted more and then 10 minutes to make them. I will go anywhere for Happy Hour - just not here! Pros: Great bar selection, Creative drinks, Lots of seating Cons: , Too expensive!!, Too loud! more

Excellent Martinis! 6/11/2004

On a recent trip to Seattle, we visited Tini Bigs for a few drinks. Their martini selection is one of the best I've ever seen! It's a great place to sit back, sip a great drink, and enjoy friends. Pros: Big Drinks, Great Service, Nearby Parking more

Title? 4/19/2004

Martini Heaven. Great varieties, good place for a drink or two before an event at the Key Arena (3 blocks away). And don't forget the Calamari. Hmmm hmmm. Nice and dimly lit inside. Pros: Cozy more

Fluent in Sign Language? 10/12/2003

I hope you are because that's just about the only way to communicate in this decibel laden lounge. Then again they typical clientele looks like they don't do much talking anyway. The service is always good and the drinks are somewhat imaginative, but ask Mom for an advance on your allowance! There is usually plenty of eye candy for all types, but they kinda look like they're with the stuffed bra/stuffed pants crowd. Still there are worse places and I'm sure I'll wonder back....when I get my Miracle Ear. more

Who could ask for anything more? 8/5/2003

This place has it all. Great service, great drinks, and great food. Package that all up into the atmosphere, and you have the greatest bar in Seattle. Whether it's a date out on the town, a business drink or an after game rendezvous, Tini Bigs can fulfill your desires to the fullest extent. The bartenders are among the best Seattle has to offer, whether you want a specialized house martini or an off the wall old time drink, they can provide it for you. The waitstaff, are personable, quick to serve, and will always have a wonderful smile for you. I have never had a bad experience at Tini Bigs and seriously doubt that I will ever have one. Pros: Atmosphere, Drinks, Bar staff Cons: Parking, Parking, Parking more

Best of the Best 7/31/2003

I can't stress how many cllients and friends I've taken there, and I always get "glowing" comments about how this place is. It's always a great time, and the drink menu is creative, and original. I consider this place a Seattle "must go". Congrats to the Tini Bigs Staff! Pros: large pours, parking, atmosphere more

Best Bartender 1/28/2003

Dennis IS by far the best bartender in town! Fast, friendly, a joy to watch. It's great to watch someone who is good at what they do. more

Tasty Treats for the Sweet-Toothed 11/14/2002

This place was great on a late Saturday afternoon! Some coworkers and I were in town on business from Philadelphia and we were in search for a good martini bar. We found it! The drinks were strong and kept coming. They even opened the kitchen ½ an hour early to accommodate us - we were hungry, but had to leave for the airport before the kitchen technically opened. Food was tasty too, but my gums were numb by the time I ate :-) Oh and the Space Needle was reflected in the bay window of an apartment accross the street. more

small but fun high energy bar. beautiful people to see and talk with Pros: cozy Cons: pricy, small, no parking more

Unpretentious-Cool 8/13/2002

After reading some reviews I had to get my 2 cents in, Why do I like it there? Well, I get a double martini for a fraction of what i would pay elswhere, try a bar with smaller, cheaper vodka and get two, see what it costs. The Staff has always been incredibly helpful, and attentive, although a bit too crowded on the "Bridge and Tunnel" nights. If anyone complains about the price, stay home with your can of beer and let the ones who enjoy the nighlife enjoy the few pleasures of life. Pros: People watching, great selections, great parking Cons: not enough seating, attractive staff lol more

Tini Bigs, the name says it all!!! 8/11/2002

Tini Bigs says it all! A small place packed with Tini people, trying to be bigger than what they really are. The only thing bigger then the price it is per drink, is the bartenders ego's... If you go there more than once, make sure you don't talk to the staff to much, or on your next visit, they might accuse YOU of something THEY did. Cons: Bartenders, crowd, price more

Wanna-be crowd 8/1/2002

Yes they serve good martini's. But a lame crowd of cheesy poser wanna-be guys keeps me from going back. I've been there 8 times, and that's 7 times too many. Cons: crowd more

  • In Short
Dim pink lights above the antique bar gently glow against the black walls, upholstered booths and varnished tables. Many variations of martinis, ranging from the elegant to the bizarre, await the see-and-be-seen crowd. Stylish drinkers love the tasty 10-ounce martinis, such as the Jasmine Tini and the Dirty Girl Scout (with hazelnut espresso vodka). For a strong boost, try the manly John Wayne Manhattan: Bulliet Frontier whiskey and Di Sorrano amaretto muddled with oranges.
