Well the prices are high. Wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt for the snobby reseptionsit Kathleen she acts like she is better than everyone. Id rather go sonewhere where they are nicer...

Incredible talent and incredibly nice 10/4/2011

My daughters and I love Michi and would follow her anywhere. She is not only talented with scissors, she is a great friend. I always look forward to my visits because I leave looking cute and feeling happy! more

BEST SALON EVER......MODE SALON 9/29/2011

If you have never been to Mode Salon, you do not know what you have missed! They are the best in all that counts when it comes to choosing your hair salon, including friendly staff , environment is fantastic and hair knowledge is very impressive. Lonnie is my hair stylist, however, I have used a few of the other staff due to Lonnie being extra busy, but the end results explains why as he is just fantastic. The staff are also very good and will spend all the time it takes for you to get what you want and be happy when you are done. Once you go there once, you are hooked, but it is worth it!! more

time is an issue here 9/28/2011

I feel they have several qualified stylists here the problem is they are overbooked and never given enough time to complete their artisty. The manager comes and gives them a look to let them know their next appointment is there then done or not with your cut they finish you up. I have a haircut that looks like I did it myself. I tried many times to get satisfaction here to no avail. I am angry at how much I spent to look like crap. I love the people at this salon but I am breaking all ties with Mode. In the month of Sept. I spent over 300 on my hair and went back 6 times I gave them every chance to make it right. I even offered to pay DOUBLE so the desk would give my stylist enough time. You guys are too concerned with quantity not the quality. I have cried twice this month over my hair. It's over. more

Simply the best 9/27/2011

I walked out of the Salon floating on air. Michi used a new product she had learned about in a Davines seminar the week before. It works miracles! It brightened my hair by "cleaning" my color. What a difference. I am delighted. I love that Michi and the rest of the staff are constantly working to improve their professional techniques. Mode is the best salon in Gainesville. more

Mode Salon 9/24/2011

This salon is awesome! Everyone is so sweet, and the salon itself is gorgeous. I would go back 100 times over to get my hair styled here. The salon is all about "the experience" so definitely don't expect a short visit. Geting my hair perfect took 2 hours, but it looks amazing!!! more

Why Mode Salon? 9/23/2011

My hair is MOST important to me. I am professional and active - Like to look stylish! NYC, Atlanta, Orlando are where I have hunted by hairdressers. I am very, very particular. I go to Mode and I am 'good to go' for at least a month. Just wash and sometimes blow dry, sometimes just let it dry naturally. I can count on them to work with and for me! Dr. C. more

Waxing with Meghan 9/17/2011

I had absolutely the most WONDERFUL experience at Mode salon. It was my third brazilian wax and the first two (which were with someone else at a different waxing salon) were painful and took atleast an hour. I would even cry because it was so painful. When I went with Megan she finished in about 20 minutes and I didn't even feel a thing! I couldn't believe she was all done. I'm never going back to getting waxed with anyone else. It's worth every penny to do it with Megan! more

Great cut, but overpriced 9/16/2011

Why are Mode's prices so expensive? I have a great stylist that listens and gives me the style that I want, but sometimes I feel so stupid for paying over $200 for just a cut and base color. My hair is only amazing the day I get my haircut. I feel cheated. I see other stylist giving scalp and neck massages and I don't get one. There's no consistency in customer service. more

Best Salon w/ the BEST treatment in town! 9/14/2011

I have now been going to Mode for a year and a half and wouldn't go anywhere else in town if you paid me! Their customer service is top of the line. They make everyone feel as if they are right at home. Their stylists give each and every customer the time and attention they deserve. Yes, the prices are a bit more than the other local salons but you definitely get what you pay for. I've never left out of there feeling less than FABULOUS! Lonnie is my stylist and I absolutely adore him! They are definitely winners in my book and I would recommend Mode to anyone! more

The only place I allow to touch my hair 9/8/2011

I always leave Mode with a beautiful haircut, but even more amazingly it still looks beautiful the next day! Sometimes in the past at other salons, I've felt like the stylist made some serious magic on my hair, but as soon as I slept on it and took a shower the next morning I never was able to obtain the same shape I had the day before when I left the salon - not true with Mode. Every cut I receive from them still looks stunning when I style it myself! They're a talented team that always make me feel relaxed and beautiful. I always gets tons of compliments on my hair after visiting Mode - that alone keeps me coming back! Thank you Mode Stylists! more

Salon "a La Mode!" 8/29/2011

I couldn't be happier with Mode Salon. From the minute you step into this beautiful vintage home, the experience is exceptional. Alyssa is an amazing colorist as well as stylist. She listened to what I wanted. She was TRUTHful in explaining to me that it would take a few visits to get me to exactly the point I wanted, with my color. The FIRST salon in 7 years that performed up to my expectations. more
