When I was there last yr. I had an awesome experiece which is partly why I booked again reagardless of pricing plus I wanted to experince the massages & the spa. Re: my massage. since it was only 30 mins I asked to focus on my neck & low back. Athough the pressue was great my request was not addressed. He seemed more concerned giving me this hand scrub then the massage. then when I was checking out it was all about selling the scrub. A total turn off. Then because of computer issues I didn't get my pedi almost 2hrs. later. Although Hollie your manager was trying to smooth things over when the nail tech arrived she seemed more concerened about who I was & why I wasn't "Cathy Bell". She also seemed rushed bored & burnt out like just going through the motions. The massage part of the pedi was not good. Then when I was getting ready 4 the evening it was so hot in the locker-room apperently due to the air not working. It was aweful. I was sweating so bad I had to keep running to the recept area to get by fans. Although everyone was real nice I felt because of everything I went though especially the waiting & no air @ a spa 7 those prices I should of been compentsated somehow. more

The setting was lovely & most of the staff were very friendly & helpful. My largest complaint was that staff at the spa at the front desk were a bit unorganized!!! I ordered lunch to have between treatments & no one told me where it was- assisted me with it or anything until I asked. they were also out of products they recommended and incorrectly charged me both times-; the treatment providers were great- just the other staff certainly did not pamper me; my first day there I had to call and request my room get cleaned-. more

Do not go to Don CeSar for a facial. I am so disappointed with the quality of the facial I received two days ago it still gets me fired up. I've receive between 15-20 facials in the past so I have a good understanding of what should be included with the treatment. I can't believe they charged $140.00 for this pitiful treatment!! The aesthetician left the steamer on my face for all of five minutes. I kept waiting for her to do the extractions and waiting and waiting...and it never happened. She left the blinds wide open for a 3:30 appoinment. So the room was like daylight in there. This is not relaxing at all!! When I got to a massage, facial, etc appointment the room should be dark, relaxing, and soothing. All the lady did was put some creams and masks on my face for an hour. She massaged my arms, but her touch was so gentle I couldn't hardly feel the massage. Also, when I left I had my complete eye make-up on! I told her to focus on the fine lines around my eyes. Hmmm, wouldn't that mean taking off the make-up to study the area and treat accordingly??? Horrible, horrible, horrible. Would like a refund. more

Each and every time we stay at the Don, we are never disappointed. The quality of the environment and staff is far superior to any other hotel in the area. The only problem is that the final billing process did not take into account all of the perks that were offered at the time I made the reservation and at check in. This was also handled expediently and professionally by Brandon in your Accounting Department when the appropriate credits were applied and the bill adjusted. more

Arriving at the Spa you are always greeted by the friendly and professional staff who make you feel welcome. You are pampered in every sense of the word, no matter what treatment you are there for. Major plus is the Spa is alway clean and tranquille. more

What a fabulous day! Upon entering the spa I was given a tour, a luxorious rope and massage slippers to wear all day and a private locker. Eveything looked and smelled soooo wonderful! Helen was my masseuse and her 90 minute body treatment was exquisite. Body scrub, then massage. After that I enjoyed the Garden Roof Top, Steam Room and Jacuzzi. The hotel and spa located rignt on St. Petersburg's white sugary sand beach is extremely beautiful. I felt as though I had a full summer's vacation in that one day at the Oceana Spa.
