The Bridge Cinema Deloser 6/27/2010

First, parking is always a problem. Poor traffic flow design and they charge too much (theater doesn't validate). Lousy management allows patrons to use cell phones and text during the showings. The worst venue in town for this abuse. The seat arm rests are worn so thin the metal frames are sticking through. The place is just getting run down. Drive ten more minutes and go to the Landmark. You won't believe the difference competent management makes. Dump this loser! more

A Class Apart 4/13/2006

The Bridge Deluxe Cinema theater takes your movie going experience to a higher level. You really wonder if you've stepped into a movie theater. Impeccably maintained. Very comfortable seats and spacious. Enough leg room. The IMAX screen is out of this world. You can choose your seats in the Director's Hall which has leather seats. Its expensive but worth the money once in a while. They also have a lounge with a full bar. Great place to hang out with friends on a Friday night. more

Fun theater, but not for families 3/19/2006

I enjoy going out to the Bridge theater for date nights and with friends. The theater itself is really fun and modern, kind of like what you'd expect to see if you were in the cartoon "The Jetsons." The theaters themselves are large and comfortable, the seats are cushy and they have adjustable armrests. The theater, while lovely, is not ultimately family friendly though. The films they show may cater to families, but the ticket prices are definitely cost prohibitive. An adult ticket is $12, which is a large amount of money to spend for the movies. I would recommend the theater though because it's a great place to go and hang out to see a movie with friends or a date, but the high prices keep bigger groups, like families, away. more

Super Movie Theater 8/31/2005

I really like the Bridge Movie Theater at the Howard Hughes Center. There's always a dozen different films playing and they have a special Director's hall with leather seats, extra wide and comfortable for an extra fee. I haven't tried that yet, but I'm sure it's nice. They also have dinner and movie packages for two for those LA dates. My only complaint is that the film selection is fairly typical. I rarely see foreign films or smaller films showing there. It's your usual blockbuster type of films only. more
