It all started back on June 26, 1922, when Lawrence L. Frank and Walter Van de Kamp opened Tam O’Shanter....

Worst

Very underwhelmed. Went for an anniversary dinner and will not go back. Had a reservation on a quiet night, many open tables, waited over 20 minutes, complained and got attitude...

As good as Lawrys! 3/22/2006

Tam O'Shanter is a great restaurant. Their prime rib is just as good as Lawry's (owned by the same family), and they have more options for side dishes. Furthermore, it is easier to get reservations on short notice, and the wait isn't as long for a table. Even better, if you happen to have the Entertainment Book, they have a buy one - get one coupon with use of the Entertainment card. The service was great, and it has an atmosphere that feels like an English hunting lodge. more
