T & D Furniture

I had found a sectional at another store and was told that it would not be in for 6-8 weeks after they had swiped my debit. So i decided that i would give T&D a shot. They didn't have the exact same sectional but the sales staff helped me to find several other options I finally settled on one with more seating and with a chaise for less money. Can we say I'm a satisfied customer with a new living room and a new outfit. more

the people at T&D's really need to do something about the people the hire me and my roommate went in to buy a living room set we had 2000 dollars on use at the time we walked around that store for a good 30 min and not one person tried to help us then when we asked for help the ladie behind the desk said it would be a min she was still on break T&D's yall can do so much better than the low class people u have working there good thing there pay not based on what they sale i read all the reviews and thought well maybe ill give them a try just to see if people that were wrighting these reviews were making things up believe me people do not go to that store u will be wasting ur time the people there are to worried about there own live to worrie about the people that pay them more

Customer Service: Rating 1; Quality and Price: Rating 4. Explanation: The older lady in the store is always hateful and disrespectful to children. We've been in the store many times and made purchases ranging in price. Every time she says something to our children (who are pretty calm and sensitive). Last time I was in there, she was the same way toward the girls. I told her not to say anything to my girls, but couldn't look at what I needed with her hovering around us. I went back without them the next day and made our purchase when we could look without having someone being hateful, disrespectful and hovering over our family, though I did not make a purchase from the older lady. I spoke to the manager, and she said she would take care of it, but I haven't been back. I don't recommend taking children into the store, because she (the older lady) will say something hateful to them. \r I would be willing to change the rating except this happens everytime she is in the store. Ok, T&D Furniture may have SOME cheap furniture,but they also have higher scale furniture also. They have a little of both. Always remember you get what you pay for. If you buy the cheapest they have what do you expect? Spend a little more & you will be satisfied. This store have some of the exact same brands that MISKELLY has, except for alot cheaper. Stop by & you wont be just another sale like you will be at MISKELLY. You will be a CUSTOMER. more

OKAY- so let me tell you my T & D story, first, because I was really in love with my sectional, ( a T&D product) it was really hard for me to decide on something new- (but it was time for an update) when we walked in, we were greeted by Jamie and she showed us a number of living room suites- because i couldn't make up my mind that day, we decided to sleep on it and come back and look with fresh eyes the following afternoon, which we did, and there was Jamie again, ready to lead us through the process all over again, ok- so then we settled on a set for our den, but as the evening went on, in my mind i decided that i didn't like it after all- so back AGAIN i went- and there was Jamie AGAIN!!! making me feel like i was her ONLY customer- we decided on a set and Catherine in Finance was equally helpful to me- then came delivery day, i was at work, but my husband was there- what he DIDN'T notice was that one arm of the couch felt like it was about to fall off!! AGAIN- let me say, about 85% more

First of all; I thought customers was right in all! What has happend in todays time. I have shopped in this store and to me all the prices seem the same from one store to the other. Where ever we go there is rude and crude people no matter what.From customers to customer service. Maybe we all should just stop and look at the situation and think about that for a minute. Shop around at every furniture store first before you blame one store for the highest price. We all need to just look at the prices today (everything is high). Everyone is rude including yourself! When you point one finger three is pointing back at you.Stop fighting people! Life is short. more

I had a good experience at the store in November 2010, however I did notice that there were three young ladies around the counter and their work ethics and professionalism need improving. I worked in the public for many years as well and we had to be positive, entergetic and happy at all times - customer satisfaction was no. 1. I don't agree that the customer is always right, but I do agree that they should feel they are right, if they are spending there hard earned money to pay my salary. more

The response you gave a the customer, Mrs. Paige, was low class, so enough said. You work in the public for the public so I would think you would not be so tacky and vendictive with your response. It did not put you or your employer in a good light.\r I think your conversation about what ever it was should have been handled somewhere other than the floor where you could be heard, and certainly when a customer was standing there. \r So good luck with your work ethic, doesn't seem to be working for ya from what I read on all the reviews.\r No need writing anything back to me, the odds of me reading it is low to none, because I was looking to order a ham when I saw this review, and just could't pass up a response. more

Let me start by saying this experience wasn't just poor...it was offle!! I came into the store prepared to spend over $1200 on a bedroom set, and 2 days later walked away from the store with no furniture. The sales staff basically wrote up an invoice, stood behind a desk, sat at a computer and had conversations with everyone else, except for me, the paying customer. To top it all off on the day I was to sign a contract on the furniture, the sales staff rolled their eyes at my daughter and I as we walked by the desk. I asked to speak to the manager, and low and behold it was one of the same low class girls that stood behind the desk and wouldn't help me. I asked to speak to her boss and she told me there was no one I could speak with other than her at the store. I told her how poor the service was there and persisted to explain the rude behaviors of her staff. She told me "I guess you can go buy furniture somewhere else then." I was hot!! But guess what...I did take my business somewher more

my name is mamie i am 53 years old i am a state worker for the state of MS. on 3/9/10 i visited t & d in pearl ms after trying out a number of mattresses i chose a polyurethane set made by Corsicana bedding in Shelbyville TN. after a few days this mattress started sagging in the middle but because it spranged back after laying, i was told that i couldnt get exchange or get a refund on my $730.00.i will never shop this store again and wouldnt advise anyone to spend money there more

We bought a bedroom set from T&D. On the day it was delivered, it was raining heavy outside therefore the delivery guys had to sit for a moment in the truck. The furniture was eventually brought in and set up. Less than 30 days later, the front the the dresser began to peel. I gave them a call and they sent a guy out to look at it. He stated it was water damages. At that point, I attempted to explain the day it was delivered but he and management at T&D refused to issue a replacement (assuming they were accusing me of the water damage). I could see if it was only one spot but it was the top of every single drawer(6). The representatives at T&D Furniture are very hard to deal with and furniture is cheap faux wood. more

I went to T&D Furniture today, 9/1/2009. There was not alot of nice upscale bedroom groups to chose from, but I saw one I actually liked. I went to the customer service counter to ask for help. Three ladies was sitting there. All three of them just stare at me before one decided to assist me. She was very rude in answering my questions and she looked down at me like she was Mrs. High and Mightly. Little did she know I was willing to write a check right there on the spot for that bedroom group, which was $2,599. This store will never get my hard earn money. more

I shopped around before I bought at T&D. They had the exact same name brands as the competition down the street, but for like $2,000 less. I was waited on right away. I will continue to shop at T&D Furniture and I will highly recommend it too all my friends and family. more

the furniture here is cheap and doesn't last long- needless to say there wasn't much to choose from- i'd prefer the room store @ miskellys- the store is just not a well store to buy good furniture for your money more

the funiture here and the sales are great. i wish you guys had more of a selection to choose freom during your sales and clearenace item sales, but i do love your funiture and i can't wait until i can come back that way and purchaase somemore of it! more
