Bernadette and Rachel They are the greatest two people. They went over and beyond to help out. They seen we were having a had time. and on a time restraint and did everything they could to help us. We were very stressed. Bernadette and Rachel took the time to help us find a place. This is a company that I would tell all my family and friends to come to rent when in Myrtle Beach . Thanks Again. I really wish I could give 0 stars.. Horrible experience. NEVER go here if you want an apartment. All these people care about is money, and not human life. My room is a joke I have NO laundromat, NO dishwasher, my rug is disgusting, the microwave barely works, stains on the walls when I first moved in, and I can go on with the list to be honest. I think a 2nd grader is smarter than Trey he's not educated, he stutters a lot and you can tell he's trying to scam you from the start. Talking to him gets you no where. The other two are clueless, as well. I have a eating disorder & home sick & they refuse to let me leave until someone claims my room which will never happen because the room is a disgrace. They're a bunch of scammers & thieves. I'd recommend and STRONGLY advise to go ANYWHERE but here. I'll most likely be reporting them. HORRIBLE experience. more

Nothing but Incompetence and Dishonesty 6/6/2014

Dealt mostly with Jason Sullivan. Dealing with him was a comedy of errors and incompetence. Not to mention Moral Bankruptcy. He would go and put pre eviction notices up on our door, after we already paid him, because he was too stunned to look in his desk for the post dated check. Also, prepare to get ripped off and have your damage deposit unlawfully confiscated. It's bad enough he won't have things fixed before you move in, but accuses you of breaking the very SAME things after you leave so he can get his greasy, grubby little hands on your money. Such was the case with the Microwave he billed us $90 for that was already broken before we moved in and he had charged the previous tenants for. If that is not the definition of Sleaze, I don't know what is. If it's not that, it is charging outrageous rip off prices for the smallest of deficiencies. Under the law, none of this is allowed or would stand up in court. Contrary to what he will tell you, they are not allowed to charge for wear and tear, previously broken items, charge excessively for labor or parts and MUST show receipts. They are also not allowed to charge you NEW prices for old worn out items that have been legitimately broken. He is also not allowed to charge you for wear and tear marks on paint, which I know he charged the previous tenant for. How i know this is that when I told him not to bother painting as it didn't look that bad, and I wouldn't be there long, he gave me a secret wink and in a sly voice said "that's how we get his money from the damage deposit". The reality is, if anyone else but a property manager or landlord did this they would be criminally charged with embezzlement. If you have this problem with him or anyone else in that crooked little shack, send them a DEMAND LETTER returning what you feel you are owed and why he is over charging you. When he ignores this, get competitive estimates and Subpoena all records relating to maintenance fee's charged to previous tenants for court. more

Exemplary service!!! 2/20/2013

We had the most pleasant and positive experience with this property's management company! The staff was exceptionally courteous and efficient , and this was a day when their office was very busy. A gentleman named Jason Sullivan went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met! We can't say enough positive things about Jason, Sebbie and their entire staff! Keep up the good work!!! more

I have been renting from them since 2010 and every time I come in with a problem or question I get an answer. My maintenance issues are handled. Staff is considerate, efficient, and friendly. Brandy Reaves is an amazing lady! She has always helped me with any problem or any question ive had.Before i moved down here she communicated with me and helped me with finding a place to stay. When i arrived she helped me with finding furniture and places i need to go. When i brought a maintance issue to her she had it handled promtly. She has represented strand management group in a very professional and admirable way. more

Mostly great 10/1/2012

In the amount of time I have lived in my unit, I have hardly had any issues whatsoever. The place is nice, clean, and I feel safe. As far as the staff goes, Jason has always been amazing as far as kindness and helping us with anything we need. The only small complaint I may have is that Brandy on the other hand was not so nice to me at one point in time when I was trying to get a new roommate. I have since avoided talking with her. Otherwise, great experience. more

After 10 years of dealing with Strand Management Group. My wife and I have only experienced minor issues and they have all been dealt with efficiently and economically. We have had tenants in all that period. Other than tenants creating problems, we have not experienced any problems with Strand Management Group more

Thoroughly Disgusted!! 9/26/2012

I have never, in my life, felt so taken advantage of by a business before! As I'm now finding out, from others who have dealt with them, they are rotten scoundrels. They concocted absurd reasons for not returning a great portion of my deposit, which I've never had happen. I am obsessively clean, and half of the things they deducted for, are fictional. I am left with no recourse, as I didn't think to take photos of the unit, upon move-out. As far as I'm concerned, they are despicable, and should be ashamed of themselves. It's as if they almost have a license to steal. more

Great Staff and Excellent Place to Live 9/21/2012

I have lived in this community for about 2 years. Strand Management Group has truly been the best rental group that I have ever worked with, they are always professional and welcoming. They are always available to help with any of my needs and they are always on top of any repairs (hard any if at all). They take pride in there properties and the view from my apartment is beautiful. I would recommend that everyone and anyone who is looking for a place to live come and see Brandy, Jason, Debbie, and Rosalie. You will enjoy these wonderful people and they will make you feel at home. more

Very Satisfied with Service 8/16/2012

I live in Virginia but own a beautiful 2BD/2BA condo in Myrtle Beach, SC. It was purchased as an investment rental property and has been used as such since day 1. Initially, the property was managed by the rental management company on the site, which turned out to be a disaster. Later on, I transferred my unit over to Strand Management and have very happy since. My primary point of contact has always been Brandy and I can honestly say that she is a true asset to me. She keeps me informed on everything regarding my property and returns calls/e-mails promptly. The unit has been occupied since the day I signed with Strand Management, which has eliminated the stress of paying the unit’s mortgage. I sincerely thank Brandy and all the staff at Strand Management for their efforts and great customer service! more

Future home buyers beware! 7/5/2012

The condos themselves are great! Strand Management is unreliable and only thinks about money! Brandy and Jason (which is probably the jason that wrote the review) are both jokes, one will tell you one thing and the other will tell you another! Long term leasers are hasseled all the time with notes on there door, for instance denying pest control because of a dog, but they do not inform tenants before hand! They make promises then renig on them! These people are snakes! After a 17 month lease we are buying a home, we asked to go month to month until we closed on the house and we were told that was fine, but a few days later were told that we had to move! The funny thing is we ALWAYS payed our rent 3 months in advance! They also try to get your deposit by sending you a notice that the condo has to be professionally cleaned and painted! This is outrageous! These people are crooks! Anyone looking to buy a home, watch out because they will step on you! Only giving them one star because zero isnt available! more

Don't sign with them! 6/25/2012

They will tell you anything to get you to sign a lease. Then the story changes. The 2 people who work in the office tell you different stories each time you speak to them. The woman sounds all sweet until there is an issue then she becomes extremely rude. Maintenance can take weeks, sometimes months. If you do sign, get every tiny little thing in writing. And, document every interaction with them - phone calls, notes, etc. Document!!! more
