In the interests of confidentiality I do not wish to reveal much about my child; however, I feel the need to let everyone know what an amazing experience he has had in the past year with Ms. Charity. First, the fact that my child has been with her for so long, day in and day out speaks to her level of commitment and my child's stability. Secondly, no sooner had she taken over the class than she had it appropriately under control, and believe me I know what that looks like! Most importantly, my child has some issues that have no doubt made her job more difficult, but what I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt is that: 1) she loves him-- from the bottom of her heart, 2) she protects and cares for him like a mother would--100 % faithful, and 3) she has never tried to bend him to suit her, but rather bends herself to help him, which is amazing. We have been blessed to have her as his teacher, and I hope his luck will somehow continue after he leaves her class. When I think of her as a teacher, I think of diamonds--dazzling, and forever. Forever because that is how long I will appreciate this year of her life she has given my son. Teachers are more important and make more of a difference--positive or negative--in the life of a child than they sometimes realize. This is one teacher who has that all figured out and then some. And her directors were smart enough to choose her in the first place!
