Styling curly hair can be challenging, frustrating, exasperating. A big thanks for Sonja for sharing with me a new trick that was not only super easy (which i love because i'm pretty low maintenance) but very effective. On two different occasions I asked friends where they got their hair done because I loved their cut and color and they both told me Sonja Olsen Salon. Needless to say, I made an appointment a year ago and have been happy every since. I have straight, fine hair which can be a challenge to come up with something stylish yet easy to maintain. At my first visit, Sonja and I talked, and she came up with a cut and highlights that is/was incredibly flattering and stylish and also fits into my life style. I have been getting my hair cut by Sonja for around 3 years now and she always gives me an amazing haircut. She is very good at listening to what I want, and understands my comfort level with trying new cuts. She gives me a cut that is just the right amount of something new, but not so drastic, which suits me perfectly. I've been a client for over five years and have consistently received excellent services. Sonja has always given me a superb cut and is willing to try something new when I feel like a change. She is very skillful at working with my difficult, coarse hair. KC is a master with color. I have had my hair done at Sonja Olsen Salon since they first opened,7 yrs. ago, and K.C. also took care of my hair for a couple of years before that. In all these years, he has never given me a bad haircut, or bad hair color job. I can always depend on him to make me look 100 % better than when I went in; I can relax because I never have to worry about what I will look like, unlike many of the other bad experiences I used to have at other salons in years past. If you have never had your hair styled and/or colored by kc or Sonja, you are missing something very special. Both are incrediably talented and they keep abreast of the latest industry equipment and trends. I often travel to Australia, and I always make sure I have kc syle and color my hair just before I leave and the day after I return. Even though when in the sun downunder I wear a hat (like most Australians do) my hair is always dry and needing special care and attention when I return. kc always delivers, restoring the natural oils and bringing my hair back to life, while educating me as to what I can do to make things work better the next time. The Salon has been remodeled and is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The Service is great. Sonja and KC do a wonderful job accomodating to what I want and are so welcoming. I get the best haircuts here and beautiful color. They offer products that they recommend based off what my hair needs, that work so well!!!! The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
