As always, Christine listened well, gave me a great cut and good color. She is so consistent and I appreciate that I can count on getting the haircut I want every time. But I continue to be a little floored everytime I check out -- this visit was $160, which included a 10% discount. At some point, I'm afraid I may not be able to afford the fabulous service. more

Melissa at Soho is amazing. She is awesome at giving the client a precision-perfect, gorgeous hairstyle every time. She takes great pride in her work and it shows. I used to live in New Haven, but moved over an hour away almost 2 years ago and I STILL come to Soho. Melissa's work is well worth the trip. more

My neighbor, whose hair always looks fantastic, recommended Kacey awhile back. She is wonderful! She always takes time to ask what is working and what isn't, what ideas I have and inevitably I leave it up to her (never would do that with previous hairdressers)and it comes out great! more

I used to be nervous before going for a haircut because I never had my hair cut in the way I wanted. Since I have been going to SOHO, I am relaxed because the hair stylist always listens carefully to my requests. more

Results very dependent on stylist 10/8/2011

I have been going to SoHo since 2006 and always had a fabulous experience (color and cut) with a stylist who unfortunately no longer works at SoHo. Since she left, I have tried two different stylists and one could neither cut (I have "challenging" hair that I wear short) or color well; the other has done a good (not great) job on the haircut and color. Be sure to ask about each stylists experience and their particular area of expertise (e.g., short vs long hair; color)as not every stylist has the same level of skill or experience. more

I have been getting my hair cut/-colored at Soho for several years and have never been disappointed. I have never had to wait which is extremely important. Everyone is friendly and I have never heard a negative comment for anyone. Everyone assists everyone else and its such a nice environment. more
