They are quick to respond with whatever issues you are having and they care about their customers. Also, the delivery people are courteous and knowledgeable and spend time answering questions and helping get you acquainted with your equipment before they leave the home. Ridiculous 11/5/2009

Soft Touch took our doctor's orders for a bili light for our daughter, confirming with our doctor's nurse that they did accept our insurance. Four days later, they called and left a message to tell us they were out of network. In the end, they charged us for 7 days when we only had the light for 6 and our rep. told us they would look into the matter and didn't. We finally were forced to pay out-of-pocket for this before this went to collections. I am writing a letter to our doctor and posting reviews anywhere I can to urge others never to use this unethical, lying company. I have never registered at any website to leave a review - this is how strongly my disgust is for this company! Cons: Unethical behavior, lack of follow-up more

Ethically and Morallly Challenged People Work Here 3/12/2009

I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They ignored our calls to pick up our rented medical equipment so they could continue to bill us. When I disputed the charges, they threatened to put me into collections and ruin my credit. Our child was sick, and these horrible people are extorting us for more money. These people are sick! Pros: Hopefully Children's Healthcare of Atlanta will drop them as a vendor Cons: I pity anyone that doesn't have a choice and is forced to use them. more

Using Soft Touch is life threatening. 3/3/2009

This company is so dishonest. They have overbilled me and my insurance company so many times. They also will hold billing for months and then bill all at once and I truly believe this is to create confusion so that it cannot really ever be resolved. But more importantly, they put my life in harm's way many times. I had equipment in my home for 4 years and they never once serviced it. They took advantage of the fact that I had no experience with this sort of thing and did not know the ins and outs. When the oxygen concentrator stopped working, they brought me a really old, beat up unit and the delivery agent had not even gotten to the end of my street before the ""new"" unit he had delivered stopped working. Even then, he would not return and here I sat with NO oxygen. It was hours before another technician brought another ""new"" concentrator. Turns out, the 2nd delivery tech brought the same unit that the other guy had just picked up from me. He and the 1st guy had ""met up"" and the first guy just handed the 2nd guy my old machine. I spent the night with no oxygen and this is just an example of how horrible it had become with Soft Touch. They have put my life in danger several times. I think they named themselves Soft Touch because they find the people, like me, who had no experience with medical equipment, a novice, and they named their company after them - Soft Touch. This is truly the most horrible company I have ever dealt with. Thankfully, my doctor's office established me with another provider and they are heaven on earth. If anyone needs a referral, call Life Gas. They are the best!!! Soft Touch should be ashamed. They do not care about the patient - only the $$. Pros: That I no longer have to use them! Cons: This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of doing business with and they just don't care about their patients. more

Great Service/Company 10/20/2008

November my husband and I got custody of my step-son with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy, in January he was hospitalized with Phenomena and it was due to Aspirating, well he was put on a feeding tube, and we were starting out from scratch and Soft Touch was there 100% supplying everything we needed for him, and has been there since, when I call to place his monthly order there always nice and respectful, and the supplies are always delivered in a timely manor, I would and have recommended Soft Touch to anyone who is in need of medical supplies. more

Wonderful Service 10/17/2008

This is my first time with this kind of company. I have a 5 year old little girl who is on a feeding pump. Soft touch Medical has been wonderful. When I need something I call and I get in a day or two at the most. They are really understanding and compassionate with what we are going through. They answer all of my questions with out hesitation. I woul recomend them to all of my family and friends. Pros: The staff is wonderful. Cons: There is nothing bad to say. more

Medical Equipment 10/8/2008

I have had nothing but a phenomenal experience with Soft Touch Medical. My 75 year old father needed a sleep apnea machine and Soft Touch delivered the machine promptly, the respiratory therapists were patient with my father and polite, they took their time and made sure that we understood how to work the equipment. This company is awesome and I will use Soft Touch for any medical equipment needs in the future. Pros: Excellent Customer Service! Prompt delivery more

We recently came home with an Apnea monitor for on newborn son. The monitor kept having 'communication issues' We did everything that the guy who walked us through how it all worked said, cleaned everything, made sure it was on his body, but still all we have is a loud constant beeping that prevents any of us from sleeping so we had to turn the monitor off. I called their number earlier in the day and got an on call number since its the weekend. I called that number, repeatedly, and have yet to receive a response back. Now i tried calling their office and it says number disconnected. I tried calling the 1-800 number and get ' your call can not be completed' There's no way I can contact anyone for any kind of help to get a replacement monitor or fix whatever is wrong with the machine. Pros: did deliver and train at hospital rather than us picking it up Cons: no weekend access or help available more

To the individual complaining about the ""nasty"" workplace... It is apparent that you are a former employee, & probably partially responsible for any unitdy conditions at the facility, if such conditions actually exist (a point that I am inclined to doubt). You portray a very disgruntled tone, & my vast work experience has taught me that disgruntled employees become so primarily because of their own ineptitude. I would be willing to wager that you became a former employee because you were unable to adequately perform your job duties and/or adhere to company policies. A respectable person would not attempt to tarnish the good name of a reputable business in an effort to extenuate their own incompetence.
