Very bad experience... stay away 12/17/2011

Good: They were friendly when selling me the bed.. Bad: Their bed began to sag 30 days after we bought it, became very uncomfortable 60 days after. We receives a warrantee replacement and they verbally extended the comfort guarantee. We have the same sagging issue and now they refuse to honor the comfort guarantee. On top of that, they lie about phone calls they made to us and call us liars.. Improvements: Only a replacement bed and an appology from the store manager is going to make us happy.. Other: Unbelievable how wrong this place is. Never been treated like this by a company.. more

Sleeping well in Seattle 10/12/2006

If you're in the market for a new mattress set and want to avoid the big box stores, try Seattle Mattress Company at 5815 24th NW in Ballard (right next to the Java Bean coffee shop, which is also worth a visit). Buying a mattress set is a BIG DEAL, and we wanted the best product and best customer service we could find. And we found it! Once the mattress was delivered, I did the princes-and-the-pea routine and Seattle Mattress created a whole new mattress for us, in one day and at no cost. They've been making beds and custom upholstery for yachts and upscale homes in Seattle since the early 20th century, and their prices are competitive. Oh, and for a small fee they took away the Old One. Sweet dreams! more
