Seattle Aquarium!! 8/7/2005

What a fabulous aquarium!!! Located in one of the world's coolest cities, the Seattle Aquarium is one of the neatest aquarium's I've encountered!! Much larger than some, it is filled to the brim with indigenous marine life from Puget Sound. There is also a great opportunity to learn here, as there are many knowledgeable staff and easy to read informational placards. A definite must see when you come to this great city!!! Family friendly, great for all ages!! more

nice, but small 8/1/2005

Nice location, nice and interesting things to see and learn. I think the most unique is the salmon exhibition with all the story of their travel upstream. The museum is pretty small though- smaller than I expected anyway. And on the upper level the smell of fish - or whatever combined smell is that- is awful. other than that- intersting. Maybe it would be a good idea to make some major improvments to this aquarium. more

Just OK 8/1/2005

We went to the Seattle Aquarium and were a little disappointed. The tickets are a little expensive. Parking is free on Sundays. We expected a lot more variety of fish and sea animals and didn't spend much time there, maybe 40 minutes at the most. I don't think we will go back there anytime soon. It was a lot smaller than expected and it can get very crowded on weekends making it hard especially for smaller children to see the fish tanks and exhibits. more

Discovering the marine world of the Puget Sound... 7/27/2005

The Seattle Aquarium is the perfect place to take your kids to. You will get the view of the marine world of the Puget Sound through a window. You will get to see seals, the salmon fish ladder, many species of different types of fish, birds, orcas, whales, and more. They also have a section where you can touch different sea creatures. Its a wonderful experience making you feel as though you are really underwater with them. Your kids will love it! more

Fun aquarium 7/7/2005

Despite the touristy location, the Seattle Aquarium is really worth the visit. I attended a graduation party here, what a perfect venue! Sadly I haven't been back since but plan on going very soon as my son loves fish and fishtanks. The Aquarium also offers many educational programs for kids- check out their website for themes. Recently the theme was sea turtles, my favorite! Unfortunately there aren't any discount days here which is a bummer since adult admission is $12 per person! more
