Reviews can be confusing so I checked ALL I could find, not just Citysearch. Anyway, based on my experience I thought I would let everyone know that I had an AWESOME experience at Scarlet Salon. Lisa was professional, courteous, and my hair is better than its been in years. I've been guilty of a bit (lol) of over-processing but that was no problem for Lisa. She cut, highlighted and low-lighted my hair perfectly and was able to achieve a healthy glow to it once again. She told me what products were the best to use on my type of hair - and didn't put the hard pressure sale on me - just told me what worked best and where to get it, and gave me a free sample of this great Argon oil she uses. I don't know what all this ""hand shaking"" thing is about... my appointment was early and we were both drinking coffee while my hair processed... I don't know. As an owner and stylist it is always hard when you find you've offended a client. That being said, I am very confused by this review. I have absolutely no idea who this could be! Although not everyone feels comfortable voicing their dissatisfaction face to face, as a professional I am always willing and grateful to fix a problem if I know it exists. It is my personal mission to send Everyone out the door with a look they love. Had this person told me she was unhappy at any step in the process I would have gladly righted the wrong, up to and including a full refund of the service. I have Never in my professional life over-charged someone for a service - my prices are clearly posted - I am truly sorry for this person's experience and only wish she had contacted me in person. I dont know of any good stylist in the area, so due to all the reviews placed on her website. I decided to try Lisa out. I had the worst experience ever!!!!! I paid over the regular amount that she charges for haircuts/styles. Only to get a very chopped up looking style that is so messed up that all I can do is now wait for it to grow out. It is so messed up that it brought tears to my eyes. I even asked her if she did consultations, she said Yes! Is that what I got? NO!! I dont know if it were the fact that her hands were shaking the whole time or if she is so outdated. Not to mention that when I called her for the appointment, she was not friendly. She said she was busy and would call me back, she never did. When I arrived to the appointment I was not greeted with a friendly manner either. That all should of been a clue but I thought it would be okay. Not to mention how difficult it was to find the place. She has the suite wrong on her website and she has not changed it......Later I looked at her website again and realized the pictures that she posted all looked the same , no matter the length. So if you want a really bad cut, go see Scarlet Salon's. Still looking more

I have finally found my hair stylist! I've been looking for a good stylist for sometime now, but it wasn't until my friend told me about Scarlet Salon in Round Rock that I finally found her. I wanted a new look, but not sure exactly what that look would be. Lisa was absolutely wonderful she showed me different accents that would fit me. I am so pleased with my highlights and hair cut and felt beautiful walking out of the salon. Lisa was so professional and so pleasant. too. Price was very reasonable as well. I'll be a returning customer for sure! more

I had been looking for a good hair cut place for a long time. I was very happy with my hair cut with Lisa. I had a short hair style in mind and she got the exact look I wanted. I have been sporting long hair almost all my life and wanted to cut it short this time. She cut my hair exactly like the picture and made sure no stone was left unturned. Lisa is very meticulous about hair cuts and made sure it was perfect.\r I will definitely go back for the next cut and will also try her hair color services. more

I am new to Round Rock and had been using the same hairstylist for 18 years in Houston. After being referred to Lisa I could not have been more pleased with the color, highlights, and cut. She really listened to what I wanted. She also uses some unique Argon treatment on my hair, that I purchased from her. I think it makes my hair look and feel healthy. Thank you Lisa! more

First of all, love the location and setting of Scarlet Salon. I was impressed with Lisa's skills, her personality and professionalism. I brought pictures of what I wanted to have done and walked out 100% satisfied. Lisa's new client discount really helped during these tough economic times. My hair is awesome! I moved recently and waited until I came to Austin, to visit Lisa again in Round Round for hair upkeep. She did an amazing job! I received full highlights and a cut. The highlights are better than I was imagining. I now have a youthful summer glow and might even look a bit younger. I feel like I do! She achieved the perfect balance between natural and bright. The cut, shaped and lifted my face, and is easy to style. She even took into account that I am trying to grow out my hair. Lisa is awesome, and funny! I drive from Georgetown to Scarlet Salon in Round Rock to have Lisa do mine and my daughters hair. Why drive all that way and not just find a hair-dresser in Georgetown you ask. Because Lisa is the best I've found. My hair is fine and difficult and my daughters just the opposite, she has tons of hair. Lisa works miracles with our hair and I am always more than pleased. When my daughter and I get asked by perfect strangers ""who does your hair"" it simply validates what I already knew....Lisa ROCKS. more

Lisa cuts and colors my hair every 6 weeks. She is always consistent. I never leave unhappy or surprised which is a great thing when it comes to my hair!! I recommend Scarlet Salon and Lisa all the time and have even been stopped at various times and asked where I get my hair done!! That always makes my day!! more

Well, I knew it would eventually happen. After more than two years of positive reviews I was bound to get a negative one. That being said, I always strive to offer my clients a relaxed, clean and professional environment where the quality of the service comes first. I do have to admit however, on a busy Saturday afternoon dusting will usually take a back seat to providing that hair service - until the end of the day that is. Based on all the positive reviews and because I'm new to the area, I decided to try Lisa's services. She never mentioned the suite #, and after walking around the place for 10 minutes, I called her and she said A-1. Ofcourse, that's not the right suite #... But moving on. While she did my hair, her hands were shaking so bad, it was very disturbing. Not sure why, but they were shaking like leaves!. The place looks nothing like the picture. Its dirty, dirty, dirty. There's hair in all the corners that looks like its from months ago, and dust everywhere as well. Then she charges $45 for a haircut/?!! Give me a break! I've been to far nicer places and not paid this much for a haircut, ever. To top it off, I have very short hair. Please don't waste your money on this place. Lisa is a great hairstylist and takes time to listen to what you want and comes up with great ideas of her own. She is also a star with color and I've never had such great highlights. I have been to Lisa several times and I will never go to anyone else. I am so glad that I found her.\r \r I am very picky and I highly recommend Lisa for haircuts, color and highlights. I had a great experience with Lis, she is friendly and was great especially since I went in wanting change but, not knowing WHAT I wanted. I ended up with a great cut and wonderful color. You can tell she does this as a passion not just a way to make money. I would reccommend her to even my pickiest of friends!!! She does a great job without having to pay an arm and a leg!!!! I came to Lisa after having a couple of unhappy haircut experiences. She REALLY does listen! I came in with a general idea and she ran with it. I wanted something funky yet not freaky and I got just that! (see my pictures) She walked me thru the whole process so I knew exactly what was going on and why AND she told me how to take care of my hair so the color would last. She even asks you if you are happy while in the process, so she knows if she is still going in the right direction! How awesome is that? Sadly, I found Lisa after the worst hair cut I have ever gotten. (All I wanted was an angled bob and I swear I got a mullet.) Lisa was a life saver! She turned a horrible haircut into a very cute style that would grow out into what I want. She's the only person that I'll let cut my hair now. more

I've been coming to Lisa for the past year and am just now writing a review. I am always pleased with the service and perfection that Lisa puts into her cuts and color. She has consistently done an excellent job on my hair, even when I wasn't sure what I wanted to do! I've changed from light to dark and now back to the highlights again – lol- and my hair has never looked better. It's not dry or brassy, which is amazing since I use the flat iron regularly. I moved to Austin 4 years ago and have not had much luck finding someone I trusted to cut my hair, much less come at me with color! I finally found Lisa! She actually listens, is fun and professional! I love my last cut, and my new highlights! My coworkers have gone on and on about how great it looks!
