Shana Dee knows curly hair 10/18/2007

If you have curly hair and have never been happy with the cut, then you need to try Shana Dee. She cuts each curl individually at an angle. For the first time in my life I LOVED MY CURLY HAIR ! It layed perfectly !\r She was friendly & told me abou tthe Aveda line but did not push them ! \r BEST Stylist I have ever been to ! more

Call and ask for HELEN...For ANY type of hair and ANY type of hair service!!\r \r Aside from her fun, upbeat personality, her results are awesome...everytime!! It doesn't matter what you are having done you can be assured that it will come out perfectly. She has great advice, she spends time to listen to your requests and you never feel rushed. Great Salon. Great Stylist. 8/21/2007

After moving here from San Diego, and trying many many salons and stylist in those three years, I've finally found a stylist that I can call my own, Maren. She's upbeat and enthusiastic...oh yeah, she also does a great job on my mop of hair (which usually indimidates people). She's fun to talk to and the salon is very relaxed. It's agreat way to spend an afternoon or lunch hour. I am constantly asked who cuts my hair. more

If you find yourself in need of any hair care needs Jaimi Dolmage is the woman to book. Attending my hair appointments with her is like catching up with an old friend. (An old friend who does wonders for hair) She is a great conversationalist who makes the minutes in the salon chair fly by. Not only is she friendly and personable with an amazing personality, she also takes the time to feel me out for my wants and needs for hair design. She is one of the only people who can straighten my curly crazy hair with no frizz or excess product. Plus she performs magic on my brown locks and turns them into gold without making me look like a fake extra bleach blonde. My husband has been very pleased with my new look since employing her services. I would recommend her to man or woman alike. You'll definitely be missing out if you try anyone else. I recently moved (again!) and had to find a new stylist in a new state (again!). I'm glad I found Jaimi Dolmage. I was pleasantly surprised by the salon and how friendly everyone was. I've been in twice- once for a cut and once for highlights, and love what she has done. My husband loves my hair too! Best Anywhere 5/9/2007

Michael and the staff are amazing, there are no words to describe how great it is. The environment is beautiful and the services is top notch! I love to go in and get pampered and be treated like a princess for an hour or so. The staff is professional and great at their jobs, yet you don?t feel like its a snotty uptight place. It has a perfect balance of chic with warmth. I recommend it!!!!! more

Salon Tru's staff and stylists have excellent demeanor and treat everyone with the amount of respect you expect to receive anywhere you go. The people are friendly. They stylists take their time with each individual and make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. They also talk with you before and during the service so you know what your hair or nails will look like or what they are doing and why. The esthetician, nail tech, and stylists are wonderful, friendly people that treat you with the utmost respect and deliver the best quality service! Shana Dee ~ After reading the reviews on here I decided to try Shana Dee.. I have curly hair & have never been able to find ANYONE to cut it properly.. Shana Dee knew ALOT about curly hair.. She took her time with me & was very personable.. I plan to continue having my hair cut by her.. I also plan to go to her for my next coloring.. Pros: Nice Salon.. Tara is so great! 2/18/2007

This salon is one of the most relaxing, upbeat and fun environments I've ever been in. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. I have had several services here, all of which were amazing. Recently, I got a deep pore cleansing facial from Tara and my skin feels better than it has ever felt. I rarely go on and comment on services I have received from people, but my experience with Tara was just too good not to rave about. She gave me skin care advice for home maintenance and spent a lot of time teaching me about products. I am almost thirty and have had some skin problems my whole life and I have noticed a huge difference after finding Tara. Do not pass up the opportunity to see her! She also does amazing waxing services and her prices are really affordable. My brows have never been sexier! Best Aveda Salon in Scottsdale 1/13/2007

I love this salon! I have tried several different Aveda salons in the Phoenix area as I truly believe in the products. The people who work at Tru come from their hearts and really make you feel at home. I love my stylist! She has a knack for bringing out the best in me. Everyone I see there seems to feel the same about the people they see. All types of people go to Tru. There is no generic feeling about the work going on here. Tru has a full line of services and products including great jewelry and hair accessories. I highly recommend it whether you are visiting and crave a new look or touch up or you live here and are seeking a new salon. Pros: Though downtown you will find parking for free Cons: The only thing that would make this better is a floor show! more

Shana Dee to Perfection! 9/18/2006

Shana Dee was the Best in Boise and is greatly missed. But let me tell you, that girl really knows her stuff! She definitely has a gift and I would highly recommend her to anyone. I never trusted anyone with my hair until Shana Dee, but she always made me feel comfortable and at ease as she cut and styled my hair. She always knew exactly what I was thinking as I would try to explain what I wanted, and she would add her own ideas for what turned out to be a wonderful style for me and an altogether pleasant experience. I trusted her completely, and I was never disappointed. more

Shana Dee is extremely talented with color!!! She magically transforms my graying, mousy brown crown back to the vibrant, glossy color of my youth. The light browns and highlights look so natural! I highly recommend her!!! Pros: Stylist Shana Dee more

BEST HAIR STYLIST IN TOWN! 8/4/2006

I WENT INTO SALON TRU THIS WEEK TO GET MY HAIR COLORED. I WAS LEARY AT FIRST, BECAUSE I USUALLY CUT AND COLOR MY OWN HAIR AT HOME. I LOVE TO GET CRAZY AND CREATIVE AND ALWAYS WANT SOMETHING THAT LOOKS GOOD, NO MATTER WHAT ENVIRONMENT I AM IN. THE JOB JAIMI DOLMAGE DID WAS AMAZING! MY COLOR TURNED OUT FUN AND YET IT IS STILL SOMETHING I CAN WEAR TO WORK. I KNEW SHE WOULD DO A GREAT JOB AS SOON AS I SAW HOW LIVELY AND ENTERTAINING SHE WAS. SHE PUT ME TO EASE IMMEDIATELY. Awesome job with my hair! 8/4/2006

Jaimi Dolmage was awesome! I sometimes feel uncomfortable going into spa environments just for a quick hair treatment. Jaimi made me feel right at home! She did an excellent job asking me all the right questions so she got the exact cut and style I was looking for. And, she even was able to shape my eyebrows to complete the look. \r \r As everyone knows, once you find a stylist that works, you never leave. Salon Tru is my new favorite Aveda concept salon. I have come to expect high quality, great customer service, and professionalism from Aveda, and Salon Tru has lived up to that reputation. The staff, stylists, and even the salon itself carried a perfect blend of classy yet cozy. My stylist, Jaimi Dolmage, was incredibly nice, impressively knowledgeable, and completely open to hearing what I wanted in a hair cut. She also made some great suggestions and I am absolutely in love with my new hair style. I will definitely pay another visit to Salon Tru when it's time for a new hair style and some pampering. \r \r If you are looking for a salon with a great location, convenient parking, high quality service, and great style, I recommend Salon Tru. Shana Dee has been doing my hair for years now. Shana Dee knows all the latest styles and is able to customize to each persons preference. I also have liked that Shana will give me an honest opinion about new styles and what would look good on me. Whenever my friends or I get our hair done by Shana we are always complimented on how good our hair looks or we get asked who does our hair. Shana has a wonderful way of making you feel special with her head massages or hand massages while getting your hair done. Since Shana is not living in the same city as me I cannot tell you how good the salon is but I can highly recomment Shana Dee to do your hair and I guarentee you will be happy with the results! more
