ive been to my fair share of salons through the years and 7 salon really stands out. i got my hair cut and colored by colette and she totally fixed how my hiar was growing out weird without chopping it all off. she also did something cool with my color that i've gotten a ton of compliments on. i've got all this blond peaking through dark brown now. hard to explain, but i luv it. colette's a real artist. I used to go to Marco's Salon but now I always go to Salon 7 because I have never had a bad experience there. I recently got a foil and haircut from one of the senior stylists, Donny. While I was get getting pampered, Joey made me the best latte and put a smile on my face because he is so nice. The two of those together really made the experience wonderful. I'm thinking about going back to get extensions. My sister just got her hair done by Donny and it looks really good and natural. I'll be back soon!! Thanks Donny and Joey! i heard about 7 on the radio and they did not dissapoint. i saw riley and she told me that with my face shape i should have a longer style to soften my square jaw. it was nice that an expert had an opinion on my hair rather than just try to do another copy of some celebs hair. she created a look that is unique to me. i'm going to go back soon to get the color we discussed! I was very disappointed in my recent experience at 7 in Seattle. The hair cut I received is awful. I went in with a modified bob and specifically said I wanted something different and not flat. I came out with essentially the same hair cut, but flatter. It is a very boring and nondescript haircut that you could get anywhere. When I said I didn?t like it, the stylist?s solution was to back comb (!) it for more lift, which I declined. The hair color I received is adequate. The whole experience did not live up to the hype or the reviews on this site. I do not recommend this salon. Save your time and money! more

I went to Salon 7 last week and Donnie did my extensions. I was referred to him by my girlfriends. He was AMAZING!! I know extensions take a long time to do, but Donnie was very quick and precise with his work. He is the only stylist in Bellevue and Seattle that does an incredible job. You couldn't even tell I had extensions in when I was done, but my hair was so much thicker and looked so natural. Donnie, thank you!! My friends and I will be back soon!!! 7 Salon is amazing! Whether it is your first time there or you are a regular, each and everytime is exeptional! The staff is always ready and on hand to greet clients and make my visit comfortable. They are so warm and friendly everytime. I love the energetic atmosphere. You can tell that every single person that works there, whether front desk or stylist loves their job. It is one of the most unique salon layouts and there is so much creativity behind it. 7 has one of the most amazing customer service I have ever encountered and I will be a long time client just for that reason! I've walked by this little salon countless times and finally decided to try it out. I love the vibe here. The music, the ambience; everything works. My stylist was friendly and seemed to really care about giving me the best cut for my hair and lifestyle, and I've never looked more fabulous! more

The worst experience that I have ever had at a hair salon! I have never been treated more abusively by a human being than by the manager of 7 Salon in Bellevue. They made mistakes with my color and put me through hell and huge expense in attempting to peacefully deal with the situation. In the end, it cost me a fortune and I don't love the result. The stylists were lovely people to deal with, but the manager, the ridiculous prices, and the outcome has made this family move on. I went to salon 7 in seattle for the locks of love program and recieved a cut by mesiah(sp?) that still layers well and is what I would consider quality 6 month later- even with the grow out!! Does anyone else have experiences with mesiah? I would like some feedback since I am thinking of going in again for a short cut. I have wavy curly hair and the salon did an excellent job with it- worth the price- even though they did not charge* more

I have to say I don't normally write reviews but my experience at 7 warranted one. Whenever I go to a salon I tell the stylist to do whatever they think will look best on me and I almost always end up with relatively the same cut. Riley took her time to listen to me. She looked at the shape of my face, the texture of my hair and everything. I absolutely love my cut and even though I live in Auburn, 7 is now my salon. I brought a girlfriend with me and we both decided we will be coming back and just make a day out of the trip up. When I called to make the reservations, I of course inquired about the cost and to my surprise the cost was very reasonable. I would have paid twice as much. I highly recommend this salon and Riley. And to top it all off I just received a hand written card in the mail yesterday from Riley thanking me for coming in. Now that's a personal touch. Pros: Friendly approchable staff, very knowledgeable stylists, Ambience is also very nice. Cons: I can't think of anything other than having to pay to park which is actually very inexpensive for Downtown Seattle. more

Arpad did a fabulous job on my cut and especially the color, bringing it back to a more natural, flattering shade. My friends have all told me it looks the best ever! My first experience at the salon was crazy because the appointment was booked incorrectly, but the cut and color were so great I went back. This second appt was more relaxing, with the stylist's full attention. Arpad is fun and makes you feel comfortable. The customer service is great from the time you enter the salon. It is expensive, so it's good the cut and color last me 6 or 7 weeks between visits. And yeah, the music is loud and not so great (more rock and roll would be fab!) but Arpad's talent is worth it. more

I was nervous to get my hair done, since the last time with a hair stylist lead to disaster. The girls at the front desk were really helpful. After I changed, i was offered a latte and a cookie! I have never experianced that before. The salon is Beautiful and i love the music. Charlie came up to me and introduced herself to me as well as walked with me not in front of me to her station. After talking to her as she did my consult and went over my bone sturcture and face shape which no one has ever done before. I felt very confident in that she knew what she was talking about and let her do what she thought would make me look the best. I LOVED my new hair style!!!!!!! My friend got her hair done at 7 and looked amazing, so I decided to give it a try. The customer service was exceptional. The girls at the front desk and waiting area were so nice and helpful. I was offered a latte (free!) and a chocolate. My stylist introduced herself to me and escorted me back to her station, walking next to me instead of in front of me. She listened to my concerns about my hair and repeated back to me what I had said and then offered some ideas. I decided to take a leap of faith and let her do what she wanted. I love what I look like now AND my stylist taught me how to style my hair myself at home. I'm excited to come back to 7!! Pros: service, parking Cons: Too loud more

I think that at 7 I have just had the best shampoo of my life. The haircut I received was so flattering and my stylist was helpful with tips on how to style at home. My hair has never looked this good. The amount of attention I was given by all 7 employees was outstanding. I am definitely going to book an appointment for hair color even though I have never colored my hair! I am so excited to return and I'm telling everyone I know to go to 7. more

I moved to Seattle a few months ago and desperatley needed a haircut and color. I heard a passing word about seven salon and decided to go check it out. From the moment I walked in the salon I felt a very calming and friendly vibe, which is usually hard to come by in most other salons. The service I recieved from time in to time out was fabulous and to top it all off the finished product (my hair) was a masterpiece! I have never had a stylist mold a haircut to fit my face or recommend a color that would truly compliment my skin tone! I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a great haircut, color, and experience. Pros: The new seven product line is ammaaazzing!! Talk about enlightening the senses! more

this simple but painfully true comment from a dear friend prompted me to seek out the stylist that was going to help me like my hair. After reading a comment from another reviewer about how Micheal transformed their dying,brittle hair into some sort of gorgeous oasis,...i knew i had to meet this man.\r It has now been almost a year since I first started seeing this ....super sweet,.---totally could be stuck up, but is soooo not-----,....stylist, my hair is in it's best shape, ever. I have gotten many compliments on my hair that never have been given before! :) Thank you Michael for helping me feel super good! If you want your to pay for a senior stylist and have your hair done by an assistant, this is the salon. \r \r I have been looking for a great salon in Seattle and went to 7 based on the recommendations from Citysearch. The first time I received a nice haircut and color from Lorenzo. It was done well enough to compell me to return. The next haircut was okay even though he became busy and never evened up the front layers because his next client came in. He just walked off and his assistant took over and began styling my hair. I was annoyed, but I gave hime the benefit of the doubt and thought it was just a one time mistake. When I came back to have my hair colored a few weeks later, he worked on my hair for all of 5 minutes before passing me on to his assistant. There was no explanation from him or the salon manager. I was moved to a chair near the doorway and worked on by his assistant while he stood by the front desk doing nothing. WHY is it okay to charge me $100 for a single process color to have it done by your assistant in the middle of the salon?\r \r I was polite enough to not say anything at the time. When I called later to speak to the salon manager, she was nice enough to apologize, but had not explanation as to why this happened. The best she could do was offer to book my next appointment for me. Why would I want to return to a salon that charges you so much, yet they assume it is acceptable to have your entire appointment done by the assistant. I do not recall ever booking myself for their training right.\r \r There are much better salons in the city that will offer you honest service and have the stylist actually do your hair for you.
